What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #280

http://stamping-ground.blogspot.de/

Well, hello! :D So nice of you to drop in on me today!!! I can't say when I last participated in WOYWW, but it was a longggggg time ago! With the past summer being unbearably hot, and then dealing with health issues and insomnia, there hasn't been much crafting going on at the Kupsh Chalet I can tell you! But now that the weather has cooled, health issues have improved, and I'm now getting more than 1-3 hours of sleep at night, I can go upstairs and have some FUN!!! YAY!

For anyone who might remember, I never, ever only post one photo for WOYWW. I just can't seem to help myself. Today? One photo!!! (Julia will be so proud of me!) Although I haven't been crafting, it hasn't stopped me from shopping for crafting goodies. So multiply said shopping by five months and you have one terrific haul! *wink* Now comes the question of what to use first, and that's where it gets sticky! Apparently you can't use all the toys, all at once!!! Well, at least I can't. Although I've tried, LOL! On my desk this morning you will see the beginnings of a new card, using a Lawn Fawn sushi stamp set (so fun!). I have colored the images with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I think I've found some DSP to use for it but haven't quite made up my mind. You will also see two Christmas stamps from Clearly Besotted that arrived yesterday. Also a beautiful peacock image that I colored in....May?...that hasn't been put on a project/card yet. In the left hand corner you will see just SOME of the new stamps in that pile that I had to use right away. Including some "love note" stamps I plan to use for my youngest daughter, to motivate her during our home schooling sessions. The rest is bits & pieces that usually are on my desk because I use them often....and I'm too lazy to put them away!

So there you have it! If you, like me, love to have a peek inside other crafter's rooms, be sure to visit Julia and all her followers on The Stamping Ground! Till next week....STAMP HAPPY!

Just for fun! This is TOTALLY my life!!!

When a crafter's been feeling poorly it is a good sign to see her with a fresh haul of crafty goodies! I know a trip to Michaels or Hobby Lobby makes me happy--I'm excited right now to get a delivery from Amazon soon too. So glad you are feeling like yourself again, and your stamps are so fun. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier... I think you will love such a colouring book, it is ideal to relax and play with colours without much thought or 'must'. I love all the stamps on your desk, I especially love the 'you rock' one... awesome! And I am intrigued to see that box with holes, with ribbon coming out... how does it look on the inside? All seperate boxes??? It looks like a great way to store ribbon! Happy crafting, happy woyww and hug from Holland, Marit #58

Sorry to hear you've been poorly, Jeannie, but glad you're feeling better now. I can't stand the heat either... There's nothing like a bit of retail therapy, though, is there! I love getting new stash. Loved the video - how true! It's so easy to get sucked into the Black Hole of Pinterest and what fun it is!

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment. Glad you like my recent projects!

Hi, Jeannie -- happy belated WOYWW! Your sushi bits (and, well, everything Lawn Fawn comes out with) are so cute. I really love that so many companies are now coming out with matching stamps and dies. (Now, if I could just grow a money tree so I could buy lots of them . . . ha, ha) Thanks for your visit to my blog. :) ~ Laura #63

Thank you for visiting my desk. I feel your pain with the insomnia as I have suffered for years - one of the best things we ever did was get a portable air con unit to go in our bedroom during the summer - I find it much easier to sleep when the air is cool. Looks like you are going to have a lot of fun playing with all your lovely new stash.
