What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #204

I have been sick! Again...still...whichever! 2013 is definitely not shaping up to be my lucky year!!! So I had to miss all of you last week, and don't really have much to share this week. Boring, I know.

Here's my desk this morning:
I didn't pick up yesterday - oops! I finally tackled a project that was nearly 2 years in the making!!! Don't you hate it when "stuff" gets in the way of your crafting plans? And then you forget. And then you remember, but you're busy when you do. Then you forget some more. Repeat, repeat, repeat!!! Next thing you know, a longggg time has passed from your original intentions! So yesterday I sat down and got busy!!! I made some "mini art" (see post directly before this one, from yesterday), to fit into a 1" square jewelry locket - ten inserts in all. And these are just some of the stamp sets, card stock and punches I used. I did try to clean as you go, so I really used a lot more than is shown on my desk. So, I can cross ONE thing off my list, right??

Next, I was planning on using these lovelies:
Gorgeous stamps I picked up in England...last September!!

But they will have to wait a bit because....
...I got a request to make up 30 mustaches!!! Some people seem to think I have a stamp  for everything, and I think I almost do! So I will stamp, heat emboss and fussy cut out mustaches this morning. And maybe get to my other stamps....soon. How soon? Time will tell, lol!

Good Mail:
Our mail system over here, which stinks on a "good day", has been particularly bad lately. As in really, really, super, duper bad and slow!!!! I finally got in this little package of goodies, but it took 3 weeks and that was with Priority Mail!!! But I will enjoy a couple of new dies, a paper pad I couldn't resist and postal themed washi tape. The mini square pop dots were a freebie! Free is always nice!!

So that's my desk and story for the week! Hopefully if you've popped round, you'll leave a lovely comment and I will happily return the favor!! Happy Crafting!!!

Hi Jeannie
you may not have much for us to look at on your desk but you have made up for it with all the lovely crafting stash you have been buying.
Happy WOYWW #204 and enjoy the rest of your week

I agree, free is always great! I often come across stuff I started ages ago, then jumped to something else, and so on, and forgot all about the original thing. Very often I can't even remember what I was actually going to do with the original! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #80

Now then Queenie Jeannie, I think completion on a two year old pending is absolutely marvellous, and I think you can safely go through that inspiration/remember/forget phase..you are in such good company! Loving the tidy desk, but please....it never really gets so bad with you anyway. Hope you're well on the way to recovery.

So sorry you can't seem to get well and stay well. Been a long year healthwise already over here, too. Glad you got that older project done, though.
That baby buggy die is the one Leah picked out for her sister's baby invitations! It is so pretty!!
Hope you feel better soon. It should warm up and be sunny--and cure us both! ;)

Ooooo, those Molly Blooms stamps are the cutest things!

I know exactly what you mean about crafting plans and time. I've come to accept that there simply isn't enough time to do everything I want, so I try to prioritize better. :-)

Happy creating and happy woyww!
