This 'n That!

I don't have enough to share for a "real" post, but I wanted to get some older photos posted and off my harddrive, lol!

I found a new kind of cake mixes from Pillsbury at the Commissary. Very oh-la-la-fancy as The Bella would say!!! This one is the chocolate fudge truffle one. It was soooo chocolatey and delicious, but very, very rich too. Of course when we went this week to get some more, they were long gone. Oh well! It was great while it lasted!!

Remember when I begged for someone to send me some dark chocolate raspberry M&Ms?? Well Mary sent them to me - 3 bags full, lol!!! PLUS she sent two boxes of Moon Pies too!!! She's pretty awesome like that. THANK YOU, MARY!!!! And I think my husband sorta loves you too, as those are his favorites!

When we were in Florida over Christmas break, I picked up some crystal melting kits to do with Bella. So far we've made two and I took photos of her doing the first kit. She had a blast making these!!

Last December, when I did the Christmas craft fair, Bella had fun doing some papercrafts with a new little pal! Her Mom took a photo with her cell phone and recently sent it to me. They had a blast making pretty cards, while I was busy selling my papercrafts!

Thomas and Bella were supposed to have their weekly time together today to eat lunch and go bowling, but alas...."solider issues" have come up. Thomas is at work now and I'm not sure when he'll be finished. So I'm left at home with Bella, who is watching the clock and stressing herself out that she won't be able to go. *sigh* I really do try to be understanding and supportive, but this job of his is really a lot to get used to. He's gone so much, and when he does come home, he's usually snoozing by 7pm he's so worn out. Weekends are all we have, and I can't even begin to count how many times his phone has gone crazy, and/or he's got to go back in for something or other.  He can't even take leave (vacation) without his phone blowing up!!

I think I'll set Bella up with some painting supplies to keep her occupied. And then maybe, just maybe, I can sneak upstairs to have some stamping therapy myself. It's got to get better, right???
