So many cool things along the way too!
Boston was the port the Mayflower set sail from to the "New World". So much history here!
Snapped this for Thomas - knew he'd love it!
English crumpets!!!!
Not to be confused with strumpets, but that's another post for another day, lol!
So between the bit of shopping we did on Friday, and the major shopping on Monday, I wound up with all of this....
...and all of this too!
TONS of new goodies to play with! I got some incredible, too-good-to-pass-up deals, and some things I just had to have, lol! I wound up having to buy a luggage tote bag and pay to fly it home!!! And no, you can't really see anything from these huge mess piles, but I'll take more photos when I make it back up there. I have some laundry and boring old housework to deal with first, and then it's on to the Stamping Studio for a bit of a play, as they say in England!!Huge thanks to Emily (and family) and Monica (and all the other retreat ladies) for making my first trip to England so much stinkin' fun!!!!

So, you were in Boston too? That's where I live (well, just outside of it). The Pilgrim Father's memorial is just a stone's throw from my house. It's where the Pilgrims made their first attempt to sail to the new world. The weather has been dreadful, but glad you enjoyed your trip!
What a wonderful meal! Now I want this for lunch!
Love all those old buildings!
The crumpet almost looks like an English muffin. Is it sweet or not?
What a haul! Yes, I want to see pictures of what you bought when you get caught up with the housework.
Did Bella survive? ;)
Beautiful churches!
It looks like such a fun trip.
You totally made a haul!
It was a fab trip but over much too soon.... Wonder if Monica wants to do another retreat next weekend lol
Bloggy Hugs
Busy days here.... but I'll be back when I have the "proper" time to do just to your Merry Old England trip!
Mm, I miss those fish and chips. I don't like seafood normally but fish and chips were awesome.
Well, I've just about finished the rum and coke I fixed to drink while devouring you England posts. Unbelievable the amount of goodies you managed to pick up. Can't wait to see what they are.
The church is beautiful, as is everything else. What a wonderful trip. So glad you were able to go and have a good time. September huh. Right around the corner!
Looks like you had a great trip and brought home lots of goodies.
