Moving isn't for sissies!!

I'm not dead yet. Just dead tired!! It has been stress upon stress....a lot of what could go wrong, did. I don't really want to get into particulars just yet, because I really don't want to get all worked up again. But yeah, suck-a-dociously craptastic!!

We're at the hotel now and pretty much in BLISS!!! We have a lovely, clean family suite, internet, cable on flat screen TVs, free breakfast and I don't have to cook or clean ANYTHING for the next couple of weeks at least. YAY!!! Thomas has to go to formation tomorrow morning, and then is going out to the house to mow the lawn one last time and weed-whack the yard. Then he'll come back, pick us up, and we'll go back to clean the floors up. That's basically all that needs doing, along with wiping down counters, cupboards, etc. I was mortified about the dust dinosaurs under and behind our furniture - yikes!!

I'm predicting a very early night for all of us. It's only 6pm now and frankly I'm ready to crash right now, lol! After we're done with the house, we're just going to relax and hang out, until Thomas clears housing on Monday morning. Then we're done till we leave here early Tuesday morning. We had talked about going to Verona again, or perhaps Venice, but I think we're just going to sit tight, put our feet up and do nothin'. We'll see how it all plays out.

Just sayin'.

When we had military movers move us, I remember people saying "Oh you've got it easy". But really, having movers is very stressful not to mention having to have the base housing perfect. I mean who lives white glove perfect? Good luck and enjoy not having to cook!

Just focus on the positives, keep breathing, and keep your eyes on the end goal! *Hugs*

Glad it is done--or almost done. Now relax and rest. Enjoy not cooking and hanging out. :):)

Well girl, I'm just glad you made it out of there in one piece. There will always be things that don't go just right (or make that terribly wrong...) Sounds like you are in the right frame of mind and ready for the next adventure!

I always am horrified at all the dust behind furniture. I always say I'm going to pull everything out and vacuum once a month but that rarely happens...

Your verbage in this post had me laughing out loud. Dust dinosaurs indeed. You take care...grab rest when you can and I can't wait to see the new place.
