How about now?
No, this isn't the local dump. This is supposedly a backyard. And believe it or not, this is actually more picked up than usual!!! Normally you can't see ANY grass, with toys and bikes littering the entire area. But the Italian grounds-keeping crew had come by that day, and mowed the strip of grass on either side of the sidewalk, but first had to stop and move all their crapola out of the way.
Our annual Spring Cleanup is next Monday and Tuesday (except for Thomas, he has to go to work as usual!!), so maybe (?), just maybe (???), this trash heap with get cleaned up. I won't hold my breath though!

OMG!! It is like all the debris was thrown in there from the neighborhood. The community dumping ground. Nice of them to donate their yard for others' to dump their stuff. Ha!!
Hope it disappears from view soon.
Good luck

That would drive me bonkers having to look at the mess all the time!
I wonder are you guys seperated by rank? If not doesn't it amaze you that you pay what you pay to live next to that?
I don't get how people can allow stuff to get as bad as they do sometimes; I'll keep my fingers crossed the mess actually gets cleaned up!
Well, I would certainly hope that they are out there most of every day busy using that area filled with stuff and junk! But I don't see anyone out there when you took the photo? Everybody lives differently, but that kind of chaos would drive me nuts. But somebody else would find my tons of organized clutter stifling and claustrophobic. I certainly hope they keep it all IN their own yard space!
I'm glad you got the pole moved. Across the sidewalk--duh!? People are so silly.
crossing fingers for you!
The volleyball net over the sidewalk crossed the line, but I honestly don't see much wrong with the other pictures. Granted, their things are a tad bit strewn about, but it doesn't interfer with anyone else's property. I have neighbor's places that look worse than this, and you haven't seen the mess my husband has in our back yard (a cow barn is my back yard "neighbor"), although I was tempted to post pictures the other night when I was pissed at him. I guess I've lived in the "sticks" too long. This would not bother me much at all. If it did, I wouldn't look at it. Sorry...just my opinion.
I LOLd @ 'How about now?' (I hadn't noticed the homestead---I was looking at the overall space) Your timing was impeccable.
I'm concerned enough about order and beauty in what I see to have achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture, and that scene would get on my nerves. However, few large container plants--judicially placed--would be enough for me to enjoy watching their oddball lifestyle.
