Trip to Portofino - Part 4

Ahhh! In the homestretch now, lol! This is the conclusion post of our trip. I hope you've enjoyed viewing my little photos - it was a dreamy place to visit!!!

In the summer, this patio will be covered in green leaves, and luscious purple flowers. What better place to relax with a yummy glass of wine???

I've never seen these half shutters before - very cool looking!

Gardens
Coastline
The sun peeked out in the afternoon, and we could then see the coastline across the bay.
Bella was getting tired (up at 5:30 AM!), so I recorded her grump face, lol!

On the ferry going back to Santa Margherita.

Really, really, really miss sailing!

Santa Margherita
Entering Santa Margherita
Statue of Christopher Columbus - native of Genoa, which is very close by.
Quick shot of the beach
We had planned to take the 3 PM ferry back, but they cancelled it. So we had to take the 4 PM ferry, which only left us about 10 minutes before we had to get back on the bus to go home. Sooooo, we didn't get to explore Santa Margherita at all. So sad! I guess we'll just have to go back again, huh?? I hope you've enjoyed this trip, and will come back to see our next one! We'll be going to Verona soon, and possibly Pisa as well before our big England trip. Ciao!

I didn't realize how beautiful Italy was. I mean I knew it was beautiful, but wow! Love that you taught her a few things about barnacles, etc.

I love all the doorways and unique architectural elements!
