A New Swap!

I joined a new swap with some fellow Stampin' Up Demos! My mailbox has been woefully EMPTY, and I thought this was a great way to get it filled up on a regular basis and meet some new stamping buddies!!! There are 12 of us in the group, so each month we make 11 cards and send them off to each member. Another cool aspect of the swap, is that we submitted two lists to the hostess; one list of retired favorite stamp sets, and one list of current stamp sets. That way we can share ideas & styles of both!

This is the card I made with the stamp set "Make A Monster":

Top portion flips up, and you can read the "sick" part!
I actually CASED two separate cards to make this, and wound up with something unique. Huge thanks to Dawn for the Flip Card idea, and to Sue for the idea of how to use this set!

Recipe:
Stamps: Make A Monster,  Word Play
Paper: Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, Pear Pizzazz, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Certainly Celery DSP
Ink: Garden Green, Basic Black
Accessories: 1 3/4" circle punch, 2 3/8" scalloped circle punch, Pear Pizzazz ribbon, SU markers

That is so cute! I just got the monster set last week and made James a "waterfall" birthday card with it. It turned out kinda cute.
