Inspiring Quotes Wednesday...or not

In keeping with the solemnity (which is totally a word & I looked it up!) of the occasion, you know, the WORLD ENDING IN TEN FREAKIN' DAYS!!!, today I give you a slightly different take on my usual inspiring quotes. If you are a bit late for the party to end all parties, you can catch up here and here.

We're leaving together, but still it's farewell. (Final Countdown) - Europe
(I do so miss those "glam rock" hairdo's...NOT!)

Don't stop believin', hold on to that feelin'. - Journey
(aka Go ahead and have MORE sex!!)

We're on the eve of destruction. - Barry McGuire
(And thank God we have Harold Camping to put up a bazillion billboards to tell us so!)

It's the end of the world as we know it. And I feel fine. - R.E.M.
(Being American means being medicated!)

We didn't start the fire. It was always burnin', since the world's been turnin'. - Billy Joel
(Well, as long as it's not our fault - cool beans!)

Goodbye cruel world, I'm leavin' you today. - Pink Floyd
(That's right, let me have my delusions of control here!)

Fade to black. - Metallica
(...to black and blue and red all over!!!)

Feel free to look up any of these on YouTube - the music and videos are outstanding!

I'm sure things will be getting VERY chaotic with all the earthquakes and such, so when you come up with the brilliant idea of fleeing for your life in your car, please be sure to get in the correct lane!! I always hate it when drivers wait til the last minute to decide, and usually swerve without signaling!! Let's have just a bit of order, okie dokie?? So decide NOW, which is appropriate for you:
Now you will have to excuse me. Reports are that Rome is supposed to fall off the planet today and I just got in some new stamping goodies last night. I want to at least get them listed into my book before they fall into the center of the earth. Logical, no?

If this Rome-will-be-shaved-off-the-face-of-the-planet thing turns out to be incorrect information, I will be back to blog tomorrow. Be sure to stay tuned to CNN today for full coverage, as this may be my very last blog post ever!!!! Peace out.

I swear, if you cut me off trying to get into the Ungrateful Bitch lane, I will cut you. It's a beautiful, sunny day (FINALLY) in KY. If the world is going to end, I wish it would wait until it rains. Good luck today. 10-4 good buddy. Over and out.

I can think of a few cities more deserving than Rome to fall off the planet. I'm pretty sure that even up until the end people will be trying to live their lives. It's all about doing the best with what we have. :)

Well, I've so far heard nothing that says Rome is gone, so I'm going to assume you'll be posting again soon. :)

Cool quotes you chose to go with the end of the world thingy, when I try to think of stuff like that my mind just goes blank LOL Love the picking the lanes picture and Im with you I get so mad when people wait til the last minute to do that. People have been saying forever the world is gonna end soon, only God knows that :o) still scary when it comes up like this in the media though.
