Garmisch Trip Part 3

Continued from Part 2...

Eating at McDonald's...again! Bella's Happy Meal was based on the new movie Rio, but they were advertising SpongeBob. He's Schwammkopf here instead of Square Pants, lol! Literally it means "Swim Head". I thought that was cute!!!
McDonald's window view.
They don't have these in the States!!!
Rest stop area shots.

View from the rest stop in Schonberg
Austrian restaurant I WISH we had lunched at!
Time to get back on the bus!

The hills are alive...with the sounds of Cinderella?? LOL! Music provided by the video playing on the bus! {{giggle}}

Castle seen in the distance
Isn't this cool looking???
Tons and tons of vineyards between here and there....ahhhh, vino!
Bella's wooden music box. She loves it!!!
Ceramic eggs. So gorgeous and detailed!
This one has a music box inside and I adore it!!!
My collection is growing!
Decorative plate to hang up.
I bought quite a few post cards as well.
MY FAVORITES!!!
These are made in Austria and I indulged in my chocolate passion!
I got these 50% off!
You can't tell, but the craftsmanship is incredible on these!
Who can resist daisies???
We got some other trinkets too, but they got put away before I could snap some pics. All-in-all it was a very fun, very worthwhile trip! Just not on a bus and not with snooty military families next time!!! Next trip? We're off to Verona the weekend after Easter! Stay tuned!!!

Love all the pics and videos :) Glad you guys had a good time (minus the people parts). We've never been to the Linderhof Palace.....maybe we'll make it there someday!

Wow sounds like you had fun despite ill behaved people with you.

I am heading there in May for a conference and looking forward to trying to find that candy store! lol

Next year we are heading to Venice for Karnivale maybe we will see you there!!

All that lovely mountain scenery...

I bet lunch at that place would have been good.

I'm envious.

Such beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing your trip with someone like me who will never see that part of the world.

I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Germany & Austria! Maybe in a couple of years when YS goes with the German class. Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous!
