I'm soooooo tired!

Seriously, unbelievably tired. Beyond exhausted. Beyond weary. There hasn't been a word invented to describe how tired I am!!! I just can't seem to sleep all night anymore, and I'm sleep-walking through my days. I wake up between 1am and 4am and that's it. I'm awake. Still tired, but not able to go back asleep. I can't remember anything, and if I write something down, to keep from forgetting, I forget where I put my note!!! Then when I do find them, I can't understand the "code" it's written in. Ugh!!! I have no problem falling asleep, it's just STAYING asleep. I feel like I'm losing my mind!!! I've tried taking naps, but either I can't or it doesn't help. What is wrong with me???????

I'm not this kind of tired, but at least it's funny!

Awww girl... Try going to the doc. I know. I laughed a little bit, too, but it might help.

As for the clip, she's hysterical in Young Frankenstein. This one, though, makes me want to watch Blazing Saddles.

I agree! Time to see your doctor! You need your sleep.

Funny, I actually mentioned not getting a full night's sleep, too, but my problem is due to some "boys" living in the house right now. I don't function well at all without a full night's sleep, so I can imagine how you're feeling. I agree with the others: when it affects with your every day functioning, it's time to see the doc!

I know exactly how you feel girl! I go through those "episodes" too when I can't seem to stay asleep. For me the culprit is usually hormonal or too much on my mind! I hope it passes soon andyour able to sleep! {SMILES}

I found out about your blog from Pam over at Screaming Mimi. I loved all the beautiful goodies you sent her from Italy and I'm glad you realized your dream of going there. You really should see your doctor about that sleep problem. I have suffered the same thing in the past so I know how frustrating it can be as well as destructive to your overall health and well being. So glad I found you! :)

My dear sweet friend..I can relate to the not being able to stay asleep. For me..it's this dang MENopause thing and the fact that I'm an ancient one ^_^. You really should take some time for you and go see a doctor. You are in ITALY..you need energy to go see all there is to see...and to keep up with "THE BELLA".

Big hugs,
Regi

Yes, I agree with the others. You need to see a doctor to find out what can be done to help you sleep. It's not easy trying to function when you can't sleep. *hugs*

I thought of menopause too. You have all the symptoms, but are waaay too young. I'd see a doc too. Sounds as if it's progressed beyond what you can handle. Go now! Let us know! We care! Hugs!

Sounds like me in the beginning of menapause. Have you tried Melatonin? I did....they did not work....and once I went on HRT I slept better. Once I started wearing a power band...I sleep like a baby.

I sympathize! I am tired too!

You need sleep! I take a melatonin and 25mg benadryl before going to bed (and sometimes ibuprofin or tylonol). It really helps a ton. Sounds like you might need something a little stronger. You know, good sleep makes ALL the difference. It is so vitally important. Nothing screws with your mind and mood than being tired. It is depressing ... not to mention all that stuff you forget! Hope you find something to help you sleep better at night SOON! :)

Oh girl, you've GOT to go to the doctor! Your body just can't function with a severe lack of sleep... and I'd say waking up every morning between 1-4am constitutes "severe". Get checked out, hun.

The same thing has been happening to me lately...and I'm not sure why. I wake up at all hours of the night and begin worrying about things. I just can't seem to turn my mind OFF.

Hi Jeannie! Hope you will take everyone's advice and see your doctor. In the meantime, sleep when you can, get up then go back to bed! That is what I do now! Hugs to you, hope you can get this under control soon.

You can't keep doing that. Get thee to the doc and see if there's some help!

Menopause did that to me--terrible insomnia. I still have occasional brief bouts with it, but it has mostly passed. You could have the doctor check you out and see if they have an ideas. You can't keep going without sleep. I know how horrible that is, you poor thing. Here's hoping you'll get a visit from the Sandman soon!! :)

Poor thing - I am hoping for a restful night for you very soon!!!

Sleep deprivation can have that effect on a person. Have you tried melatonin?

I agree with those who recommend going to see a doctor. I went through this many years ago when my job became too stressful for me. The Dr. actually recommended I find a new job... and I did.

Hope you get to feeling better and get some sleep.
