Beautiful area. I've been to Vermont but never that far north. My parents and my two younger sisters took a ferry across Lake Champlain many years ago. I was already out of school and working so didn't go on that vacation with them. Nice pics...I wish I was there right now in the summer breeze. (it's snowing outside my window this morning)

Those are some beautiful sailing pictures!!

So now I've got this guy quasi-following my post who is kinda cocky, but has got wit to back it up so I'm willing to forgive. Anyway, he wrote this post last week about all the terms in boating. I didn't get it because I don't sail...but you might.

Happy Thursday! The BIG STORM is supposed to land here tomorrow. Please tell me why everyone feels the need to stock up on bread and milk before a snow storm...the first things to go bad. Me? I would stock up on moon pies. They have a shelf life of 14 years.

I want to go there NOW! Oh wait, it is cold there too. And probably snow is on the ground...

Beautiful, peaceful pictures. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Oh wow I love these pictures. My dream is to one day see all the Great Lakes. I am sure you had some very happy times on this beautiful body of water.

I love those orange sky pictures.

Nothing is quite like sailing an old wooden windjammer... the creaks and groans and the gentle breezes.

Wow! Awesome pictures! I sailed in a dingy once. Couldn't stop and I rammed into a pontoon. Opps;)

Love the photos! Went on a cruise for my last B-day and loved it :-)
Can`t wait till I visit my Family again, so that we can enjoy the sea and the sun for a bit (Maybe some lakes as well:-)

Looks very peacefull and quiet out there on the water, with no one around you to blast their music at 1am. When do we go?????
