First, today I would love to BE wherever that first painting was.

Second, I didn't know that he painted non-impressionistic work. Although it would make sense that he did that before he began to develop his own style. The trees look so real. You know, I love impressionistic work and would probably prefer it for decorating. But I am always impressed at the skill of an artist who can paint something that looks photographic.

Third, love the purple in the last painting. Love it!

Only someone from a warm weather state would DARE to put up a winter picture when the rest of us are still wanting summer to hang around. Hmmph!

The rest of the paintings are very pretty though.
