Inspiring Quotes Wednesday

Photobucket Photobucket

This post could alternately be titled, "So.Stinkin.Tired".

"No! Your animals do NOT have 'googly eyes'. GO TO SLEEP!"

"No! Your wall is NOT 'magical'! It's the reflection of your revolving Princess light. GO TO SLEEP!"

"No! You may not sleep in my bed! GO TO SLEEP!"

"If you don't go to sleep right now, Jilli isn't coming over today! GO TO SLEEP!"

"I'm calling the Birthday Fairy!!! GO TO SLEEP!"

At 4:30 am The Bella got up for the first time. Running into my room, crying, talking about her animals having "googly eyes". I don't know what that means exactly, but apparently it's really, really bad and really, really scary. Being the loving Mom that I am, I threatened a spanking if sleep didn't commence immediately. Sorry, but you take away my sleep and I'm barely human.

After an hour of up and down, Mommy couldn't go back to sleep anymore. This does not bode well for a good day today. I am missing out on loads of sleep and that is never a good thing. I don't know what is up with Bella either. Nothing new, no scary tv, nada........and now we have googly eyed friends who turn into monsters at night. Oh joy!

And yes, there is TOO a Birthday Fairy! There is a fairy or something for every major, and minor, holiday and they WILL be used as bribes, or extortion, as needed!!!! Mommy is going to be one googly eyed monster today...

I know those days...and nights!

Have you tried Benadryl (for The Bella) and booze or some other Valium like substance (for yourself...and possibly Bella)?

That is what I tell myself especially last night. I was still up at 11 on the computer...12...1...2...3...oooooh that is so bad...4 and then I went to bed and now I am up again. I hope I can keep the grouchies away. I don't think any concealer is going to hide the dark circles.

OK...so I am not the only one with a staller....when I go up to her room she says, "I'm scared." When I ask her what she is afraid of she actually looks around the room for something to blame it on!
Priceless.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!

That was me yesterday Chris got a wicked sunburn and kept me up all night the night before. I got maybe an hour or 2 worth of sleep. I did get out of making dinner yesterday though.

Put the googly eyed monsters in bed with you and kill two birds with one stone - no googly eyes in her bed and she'll stay out of yours!!!

LOL my oldest daughter, Tessa, used to be scared of the shadows on her wall made by furniture and doors.

Hope you get some sleep tonight or maybe today at nap time.

I remember those kinds of nights with my kids. I can honestly say I don't miss them.

I hope you're able to get a little rest at some point today.

Queen Bitty has spent the last four nights barking at the bedroom door at 3 a.m. until we let her in. A war will begin tonight.

Oh, I feel for you. I'm a very grumpy Mommy too if I'm awakened more than once in the night. Or once a night for many nights in a row. :)

Hey Jeannie,
LOL I just love reading some of these commets from folks.......

I totally understand Bella....now I have only experienced this a few times with my boys when they were younger.
But I remember when I was a little girl everything had to be put away into the closet and nothing under the bed! Otherwise the googley eyed monsters would creep out!

I take it with a grain a salt the I had a over active mind and could sleep ....maybe Benadryl like earlier listed might help......as for the wine, Yes!
