August 18, 2004 - The day Thomas became a father with Isabella. He had already had some "training" with Alex and Shane since we got married in March 2002, but this was from The Beginning. And he had no clue. Just as ALL first time parents have no clue. No matter how many books you read, or people you talk to, or kids you are around - N-O-T-H-I-N-G!! - prepares you for being a parent! Which is probably a good thing or no one would ever attempt it, lol!!!
Thomas & The Bella - Day OneSee those tiny little fingers? Yep, she had Daddy wrapped around 'em from Day One!! And nothing has changed! Thomas had to go back to Iraq in January 2005, through January 2006, and again from March 2007 through May 2008. That's a long time (27 months), out of Bella's life, but he's still the best Daddy she could have ever hoped for!!!
