Cute cards!! Thanks for the comment love from SITS! "Splitting the pole" means if you're walking with someone one of you goes on one side of a pole (telephone, parking meter, etc) and the other one goes on the other side. I think it brings bad luck if you are superstitious about it. I go to great lengths to try to stay on the same side. :)

Ah. I stand corrected. Looks like I'm going to need to start actually WEARING my eyeglasses while reading the blogs. Either that or at LEAST have my cuppa tea before attempting anything! *sighs*
