Yay! Just filed my taxes!! Easy peasy!! I LOVE TURBO TAX!!! I started them a couple of weeks ago and filled in everything but Thomas' W2. OCD does come in handy sometimes, lol!

I'm going to use Turbo Tax this year. I usually go have them done somewhere, but I want all the money this year instead of paying someone else ;0)

I haven't gotten my 1099 yet, and Bill hasn't gotten his w2. Since we owe every year... we wait until the very last minute.

I am so happy for you! I want mine done!!!

Ha... Taxes, April 14th is when ours get submitted and not a momment sooner. We always end up paying something so we are never in a hurry.

Hubs usually comes to my work and we sign ours in my parking lot on . . .April 15!! Before we got married, I always filed as soon as I got my W-2, now that we're married, completely different story. Men . . .'nuff said!!

Good for you! Feels good to get that stuff done.

I've got everything ready that I can. Why oh why does everyone wait til the last possible second to send out there tax forms? I get that you have until the last day of Jan to send them out but why wait?

I should probably get started on mine, too. I need to wait for Phil's W-2 to complete everything, but I also need to gather all of my personal Mary Kay business stuff together and start figuring out exactly how large of a loss I can claim this year. I'm hoping that my loss will completely offset any taxes we may have owed on Phil's income, and we'll get everything back this year.

I got my W-2 today, so now I have everything I need to spend a whopping 20 minutes total to do both forms. I get to use the free version at HRBlock.com, and IL can be done online. I usually wait until April to do mine, but I'm determined to have them done by the end of January this year.
