De-stress Thursday

Good morning! Well I'm afraid I don't have much for de-stressin' this week. I'M STRESSED because my house has gone from cluttered to messy to downright nasty dirty!!!! Getting sick and then lazy-assed holidays has done us both in - big-time!! So to decrease MY stress, I'm hitting the house hard today. *sniff* No time for blogging! *bigger sniff*

So my wise advice is this....whatever is stressin' you out is probably something you need to face head on. It probably won't be fun, and might be painful....but here's to hoping it will be worth it!

Dusting Laundry Mopping Vacuuming
Making The Bed Washing Dishes Cleaning The Toilet
Update: It's nearly 1pm and although I've been seriously busy, my list is growing longer not shorter as I see more things that need doing. UGH!!! Dammit!!!! How am I supposed to get in any good quality reading time in this way???? And just forget about Guitar Hero...my passion, my purpose in life.......*big long dramatic sigh*......I'll be back.....much, much later.

That would be a stack of papers needing filed!

I feel for you - I have been working this week (both here to "fix" the mess and in the office getting ready for tax season) and don't see much progress here - which is extremely depressing.

But I guess I need to get my butt in gear too and get things moving here. Only 10 days till graduation and Open House Sunday..........now THAT is getting very stressful

Yeah, I have to clean up a bit too. That was one of my resolutions. Try and keep the house picked up. I am not doing too bad.

I hate it for you girly!! Don't you have kids - can't they be your "helpers" for the day? Kidding, kidding!

Cute little pictures. Good luck with the cleaning. It always feels so good when it is all cleaned up. Then you can blog guilt-free. :) My house goes through the cycle of clean, cluttered, messy, really really messy, repeat. I'm trying to eliminate the last two steps of the cycle.

I'll lend you Moker to give you a hand. I need to brag a little...I have the most Helpful Husband Ever! He not only does dishes and windows, but is pretty good at the laundry, too. Good luck tackling your mess!

I'm in the same boat as you, Queenie! But I am still sick, so I really am not getting much done. I just want to crawl back in bed, but I have The Diva to take care of...who does not quite understand the concept of "put your toys away". LOL

When I finally do get well enough to clean my house, it's probably going to take a week to finish!

Good Luck!

BTW, did you go to the doctor yet?? (hint, hint)

I did my deep cleaning on Monday, to include cleaning the base boards, window next to the front door that was covered in Koa's snot, and the doggy door also covered in snot...but he's so cute!

That is funny quennie! I too was stressed about the mess, and finally had to tackle the Kitchen yesterday along with the bathroom.....my list is longer though as I now have to do the living room, bedroom, laundry, and still upkeep the bathroom and kitchen. It is a birthday weekend for c in my home so people will be here and probably mess it all up again! Maybe calling one of those maid service places isn't such a bad thing?! (I will never do it....but totally see its value)

I thought that was one of the main reasons to have kids? So THEY could do the cleaning?? Am I wrong?? Damn!
