My Sunday Blessings

It's Sunday again....ahhhhh! My favorite day of the week! I won't be alone in the house this week, but I will have some alone time in my Stamping Studio!!! I made the family a yummy, big breakfast and have done the "Laundry Shuffle", so in just a few minutes I will be heading upstairs to stamp the day away!!!! I think I've finished my fall cards, and will concentrate on Christmas cards now. I have quite a few to make, but I also have quite a few new sets that need inking up!

Speaking of new sets...I just got this one in from Stampin Up, called Gentle Peace. Once a month they offer one new photo polymer set and this was the one for October. I used all four of the stamps between the card and the decorated envelope, so I feel like I've done it service, lol!
Card Front
I was so tickled to find an embossing folder in my "stash" that coordinated beautifully with the background of this stamp. I lightly sponged it after embossing, to give it texture and age it. The stamped image was colored with Copics, and then heat embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder. I LOVE the way it sparkles, and yet doesn't hide my coloring.

Side View
I have to admit I spent far too much time admiring my own work when I was finished!!! This will probably be my most favorite card I make! It's actually going to be hard to give away, lol! Better get back to work...
