Ahhhh! Back in the Stamping Studio at last!

It's amazing what a couple of night's rest will do for a girl! It looks like (*fingers crossed*) that sleep has found me again, and that in turn has allowed me to become more than just a zombie around here! I've finished up some cards I had started, and then made some new ones. It's SO GREAT to be crafting again!!!

On this card I heat embossed the image, and then filled it in a bit with my new Distress Marker in Picket Fence. It is so cool as it "magically" appears because at first it's nearly invisible! It shows up best on darker card stock, and after seeing it demonstrated online I had to try it out for myself. So...I have ONE Christmas card finished. I think I had better get going on making more, huh?? *wink*

When I saw this Penny Black stamp I knew I just "had to" have it!! I thought it was a bigger image when I purchased it, but I still love it and it was really fun to color it in with my Prismacolor pencils. I got to use my new stitched rectangle dies from Lawn Fawn too.

Speaking of Lawn Fawn - I LOVE that company!!! I love their oh-so-cute stamps, and the fact that most sets have coordinating dies as well. Although I have quite a few of their critter stamp sets, this small hedgehog set is one of my favorites. This was also colored with my Prismacolor pencils and blended with Gamsol and a paper stump. I have soooo much designer papers, and I really need to use it more (and use it up!) before we move next summer!!!

Similar layout with different colors. These guys were so much fun to color that I made 'em twice!

A dear friend of mine was on TV!!! (Waves to Cassy!) She got to volunteer on the TV show "Restaurant Impossible" when they were filming on Fort Bragg, where her husband is stationed. She is always doing the coolest stuff, but this takes the cake. It isn't available online yet (Season 9) but I'm looking forward to seeing it. I thought she'd enjoy having the card to remember her time on TV!

I have a huge pile of new stamp sets on my crafting table waiting to be inked up and turned into more cards!!! I think I will be doing some Copic coloring today, and possibly finishing up a Distress Marker watercolored image. So many toys, so little time! But....I'm grateful for the SLEEP which enables me to craft again!
