World Card Making Day - OWH Blog Hop!

I made it!!! (Even if by the skin of my teeth, lol!) It's World Card Making Day, in case you didn't know, and I've joined up with Operation Write Home to make a thank you card for our deployed troops! I hope you will have a wonderful time this weekend hopping around the world, seeing the talent and creativity shared among fellow papercrafters. And what a cause!! Showing our support and appreciation for troops around the world, who keep us all safe!

We were to choose one past sketch for our thank you card:
This was an easy choice for me this morning because it allowed me to revisit a previous card I had made for my own "super hero", my husband!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Express Yourself
Paper: Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red
Accessories: Silver metallic foil, word window punch, modern label punch, small star punch, SU circle framelits, square lattice embossing folder

Want to see more?? Simply click on the graphic above to see the entire Blog Hop!! Also, Operation Write Home is always looking for more crafters to make cards for our troops to send home to their loved ones, and also gratefully accepts ALL monetary donations to help in the cost of shipping boxes of cards overseas. You can make a difference!!! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you all have a blessed weekend!

After seeing your card, I'm sure we are going to see lots of foil embossing in the near future and I like how you used the three different sized circles.
