My WorkBox Story!

Once upon a time, there was an Army family living in Georgia. After three Iraqi deployments (the last one lasting 15 months!!), Mr. Man thought that Crafty Mama deserved a reward for keeping everything, and everyone, going through it all. Crafty Mama, of course, agreed! What she really wanted was a WorkBox, but knowing how expensive they were, especially on a military family income, she didn’t think it was going to be possible. But Mr. Man hates disappointing his Queen, and decided to give the company a call. After explaining the situation to them, they generously offered a discount for us, as well as free shipping. YAY!!!

A couple of weeks later, a huge Fed-Ex truck pulled up to the house, and Mr. Man was there to help unload the cherished prize!

Don't you just adore a man in uniform??

Smile for the crazy Crafty Mama!!

Mr. Man bringing up all four HEAVY boxes to the new Stamping Studio!

Lots of work, but together we built it!

Now it was time for some "alone time" - just the WorkBox and Crafty Mama!

All finished and ready to be filled up!

TA DA!!!! The Stamping Studio is born!

Only a year later, this Army family got orders to Italy!!! Dream.Come.True!! This house was much, much smaller though!
And this small empty room...

…became the “catch all” for the movers!!! The entire room was filled with….well, everything! You couldn’t even step into the room!
But you know that Crafty Mama wasn’t going to let that stop her!! Oh no! Quickly she set everything up in the whole house…..including her new Stamping Studio!  Smaller? Yes. Still fabulous? Absolutely!!! After two years in Italy, this Army family was on the move yet again. This time to Germany!

*sigh* Yet another moving disaster to organize!!!

Which of course Crafty Mama did in record time!! NOTHING stops Crafty Mama!!
And this is where you can find her most days, crafting on her beloved WorkBox, making cards and other paper crafts for family and friends! All because one man loved her enough to make her every dream come true, and because one company was gracious enough to help him do it.

Where will Crafty Mama move next??? Only time will tell! But her WorkBox will be coming along for the ride! And they all lived happily, craftily, ever after!!!

Mr. Man is really looking after you. Love it. How nice of the company to be so generous, too. Looks as if the "box" is making your life a really happy place. *hugs*

Holy cow! That is a crafters dream come true! On another note, I saw someone post about the new card kits from Stampin' up...everything you need...precut. That is genius!

LOL well my favorite part is the pictures...seeing Bellas toys slowly being moved OUT of the shelf. Us crafty mamas have no room to share in that area of our life!
