What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 190

WHERE does the time go?? It's seriously the 23rd already? Wow! Really hard to believe!!! But alas, sleep or no sleep, time marches on. Luckily, I am getting sleep again and just before the lovely men from the looney bin showed up to cart my zombie self off too! Whew!

It's time to join Julia from Stamping Ground, and share our desks...whatever state they might be in! I swore that this week,  (OK, and last week too!), I would have something lovely to show you that I had created. But it didn't happen. Again. All I could managed was a clean up...
 (Look! A floor!!)

...and a finished Magnolia binder! I have all my Maggies, and backgrounds, stamped and labeled and organized in ONE pretty binder! With lots and lots of empty pages for a lifetime of expansion! Totally hooked on these oh-so-cute stamps!!!
 Love!

And while I didn't exactly create anything (YET!!!), we did go to IKEA on Monday (it was a national holiday for Americans), to pick up some more things for the house. Including...
 ...this box...
...which is a lovely unit to hold some more crafting stuff! I needed a bit more shelf space!!! (What I really need is a good purge, but I'm not ready to go "there" yet, lol!)

I saw these the last time we went, and didn't get them. I wasn't going to tempt fate again! I have no clear vision on what I'll use them for (which is why I didn't get them last time!), but they are sooooo cheap here compared to the States, and well, I just had to have them! I do have tons of embellishments that could be stored in them...we'll see!

Because I have nothing to do, ha, ha!, I bought this deep frame for a very specific project for my oldest daughter. If I ever make it, it will be incredible!!!! Last time I bought two white ones for the same idea, and they're still in the closet. Waiting.

Lastly, I bought this additional lamp on sale. This was one of the things I was specifically shopping for because it's soooo dark and dreary here in the winter!!!
See??

So that's my not-so-short post!! (Sorry, Julia!!!) Hopefully you will want to link up as well, and visit desks from around the world. It's really great fun and I PROMISE that I will visit everyone this week, and I PROMISE to have something fabulously created by next week!! Really!!!!!

GIVEAWAY!!!
As a thank you for visiting me, and leaving a comment!, I will draw a winner for this Magnolia stamp! I accidentally ordered two of Tilda with Holy Baby from the 2012 Nativity Collection. You don't have to be a follower of my blog, although I'd love it if you did!!! LOVE my bloggy followers! Good luck and happy crafting!!

Hi Jeannie, I love to see your workspace, it always looks so nice and organised. In my dreams i too have a nice clean space.
I have some of the little jars you bought , they are ideal to store what my son calls pretty things.
They can look really nice on a shelf unit.
Glad you are feeling a bit better.
Happy building,

Happy WOYWW. I love your fab storage and organisation. The fact that I was taking longer to sort out my stash than actually craft is why I went digital. However, I still love to look at other people's storage (I should run a shop selling shelving etc!). Ali x #93

LOL! I am still catching up on last week's WOYWW but glad I got to see this entry as well (as I was here :)) cause it is just jammed full of stuff t look at. I'm doing the stamps in binders myself this week. What a massive undertaking it's proving to be. Yours and so neat - I can only aspire to that!

Nice to have a good tidy up, clears the mind I always feel. Winter is often dreary, I have two desk lamps but often find myself colouring downstairs at the breakfast bar, directly under a light! Count me out for the stamps, never been a fan of Magnolias!!

Your work area is always an inspiration. I need to organize my stamps in binders so I can find exactly what I want without looking through the boxes. I'm finally at that point.

I would definitely use one of those jars for scraps of ribbon.

No snow here, but it sure is cold. Oh, and you know my address for sending me the Mag stamp! lol

Jeannie love your craft room. The jars come in handy for storage. I haven't seen your kitten lately. I enjoyed the video of it playing. Thanks for the chance to win a stamp. Pam

I just got myself a new work space lamp on sale, too. My work space is dark and faces North, I need all the light I can get.

well, the immaculate state of your workspace and that triumph of a Magnolia binder are quite a crafty achievement if you ask me! YOur weather is pretty much the same as here, and gloomy is indeed the way to sum up the light!

great craft space. Does your desk fold into a cabinet? My friend has one that I love but alas I have too much junk for that! LOVE Ikea but the closest to us is in Dallas. I am going to go next month and pick up a could things. I used the jars to store different colored flowers in.
Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week! Vickie #35

We have lots of those Expedit units for all our books and stuff. Your crafting corner is so neat and tidy! I'm pretty organised, but that looks fabulous.

Lots of goodies from IKEA.

It's bitter cold here and we have some snow on the ground, too. Just got another dusting tonight.

Monday might have been a National holiday, but I still had to go to work. :\

That's a nice Magnolia stamp.

Although I don't know why, I'm a little surprised that y'all have a Germany over there. Also, I have one of those glass jars and that's where I store my glass pearls. But I desperately want one for each bag of beads (one for red, one for blue, etc). It would like 100000% better than it does now with everyone in Ziploc baggies. *sigh*

So, it was like that, dark and dreary and raining and then snow ALL of last week. And this week, it's so cold I don't even want to take little E out in it. So we've been house-bound a little bit stir crazy. If the loony bin people cart you off, they'll probably be stopping by our place first.

Also, I never properly thanked you for our Christmas card. I LOOOOOVE it and it has a spot on my desk where all of the magic happens. :) xoxo

You can't have too much storage or too many Magnolia stamps or too many embellishments - it's practically the law! I'd love to win your spare Magnolia stamp - thank you very much for offering to share it with someone and I'm sure now your craft space is super tidy you'll soon get around to making something pretty (or you could craft at the kitchen table and keep your craft room really tidy ...)
