I don't know what it is, but lately Bella has literally been up my butt like a bad thong! I love her, of course, but she's no minder of personal space!!!! So I was going through some older posts yesterday afternoon and there she was, reading over my shoulder. (Anyone who knows me, knows that I HATE THAT!!!)
Bella: What does conquer mean?
Me: What are you talking about?
Bella: Right there! You said, "Bella concurs."
(I had written something about not being a morning person and hating having to get up early. And that Bella concurred.)
Me: (Laughing) No, Bella. That says "concurs", which means agrees with. Conquers is a word but it's spelled differently and means to win a battle or overcome an obstacle.
Bella: Oh. Like Daddy does with you?
Me: (Laughing much harder now) Well, he tries!!!
