A Vintage Union Jack Flag!

I wanted to use some of my newest goodies, and I also had two cards I wanted to make for some English stamping friends. What better way to share the love than with their flag, right?? I thought it would be a cinch, but in researching their flag, it wasn't as straightforward and "easy" as I thought, lol! Flags are important! And I didn't want to mess one up! But, I figured it all out (gosh I hate math!!!), and this is what I came up with...
I have to admit it, I'm just tickled with the way it turned out!

I used new DSP from the upcoming SU catalog called Comfort Cafe, and the blue used is a new In Color - Midnight Muse. After assembling the flag, I ran it through an embossing folder to give it a "quilted" look!

Inside of card - using the new Hostess stamp set Carry On!
I hope the girls like their cards!!!

I also got in some more crafting goodies in the mail:
Another triple punch

Some sea-shade gems (look like sea glass!), and 2 cameos

Sea themed resin embellishments

Some 6x6 paper packs - because I'm so "low" on paper, lol!

I've wanted these special dies for ages! They fold to make amazing designs!
Now I need more, lol!!!

I plan to use these for some background designs!

More sea-themed dies!
The latest Magnolia collection is as well, and it should be arriving any day now!

These are so gorgeous and I'll be using them today!

Another SMASH book!

I love good mail!!! Now...off to use those goodies!

Y'know, darling...the problem with your cards is that no one wants to actually use them as cards. They are much better framed and hung in the house somewhere. You're going to have to start making them less desirable if you expect us to actually SEND them to people, to part with them. ;)

I just started using SmashBooks and LOVE them. I have the Cricut and all of the stamps and stuff but I'm finding that I just don't have the time anymore to devote to pulling all of that stuff out. With the SmashBooks, I can just throw the pictures in, add some stickers and a couple of captions and I'm done. And that goes a long way towards actually getting these 5 million pictures into ALBUMS.

Oh my gosh when I first saw that first picture I thougt it was a real flag! Well, a real homemade flag that is, I'm pretty sure the real thing isn't made out of flower print fabric ;)

I need to be a better sister and send you some mail! I am SO lacking in that department, maybe if I had some cute cards I would send more???
(Going to check out your cards rt now!) PS I hope you win the scrapbooking software!!! You da best!
