Villagio Wall of Shame!

I have threatened to do this for over a year now. And today is the day I start!!! I have HAD IT with nearly getting run over by "busy Moms" on clearly marked crosswalks! I'm tired of the speeding in SCHOOL ZONES and around our HOUSING COMMUNITY! I'm sick of people going down the wrong way on one way streets because they're lazy.

I've.Had.Enough!!!!!

I present you with Exhibit A:
Mouthy B!tch Supreme. She thought it was funny that she nearly hit Bella and me while crossing in a clearly marked crosswalk. I know this because when I yelled, "This is a CROSSWALK!!!", she rolled her window down and laughed at me. LAUGHED.AT.ME!!!!!

Tell me Ms. Dumbass, how would you feel about someone nearly running over YOUR CHILD(REN)???

I got home in record time, grabbed my camera, and walked across the street where Ms. Dumbass had parked. I had no intention of confronting her, because quite frankly I was so mad I was shaking. And shaking hands could quite easily become shaking this woman's throat. You don't take my child's safety as a joke and expect to get away with it! But I'm not going to jail over you either. (Tempted, but no.)

I called Thomas, who called the MP Desk. Thomas called me right back, and said they were on their way. I frantically tried to find the photo printer cords (which naturally I did wind up finding, after they left), and within 5 minutes two MP cars were here. As luck would have it, one of the MPs was the guy I had talked to at length just last week about the speeding and cars not stopping at crosswalks!!! So when I told him what happened, and that I had a photograph, he was on it!

Ms. Dumbass isn't feeling so joyful right now. Ms. Dumbass just got her butt chewed - hard! Ms. Dumbass is getting a written complaint filed against her by me tomorrow morning. Ms. Dumbass is one citation from losing her license. And when you lose your license over here, you don't get it back. Like ever! Done!!! Do not pass GO, do not collect $200. Finito!

I will have my camera on me daily now. This Momma isn't playing nice anymore. Who's next????

Go get 'em, Jeannie! Just a few days ago, a local little 11 year old boy was hit and killed by a car as he was crossing the street to get on the school bus...it happens.

Love it!! Grass roots action is often the only way to deal with things around here. There simply aren't enough MPs to cover the huge amount of unsafe drivers around Post/Villagio.

OMG I can't believe she laughed. That is sick. Keep the camera with you for sure. I'm glad you and Bella are safe.

You rock my friend! I worked the parking lot here at school at the beginning of the year when a father parked right on the crosswalk. I went to his car and asked him nicely to move up about 6 feet because he was blocking the crosswalk....he looked right at me...and shot me a bird. I put my hand at my chin...and flipped forward. Jerk.

I can't believe anyone would be so cavalier about breaking the rules when they could lose their license--FOREVER!
Too many people live life like they are the entitled...special people above the law. Duh!

Good for you!!!!
As an ER nurse.....well, I won't go into details, but it is ALWAYS the ones who think that they are exempt that end up hurting someone.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I am begging you to get at least one dumb ass off the road. Let's see how she likes it when she does lose her license and you catch her driving anyway to get her kid. Cuz her hubs will be finishing that tour alone!

I'm glad you and Bella are safe, too. I hope the lady learns her lesson before she injures someone.

I SO love you for doing this!! I knew a Warrant Officer's wife that had been pulled over 4 times for speeding on post, but only ever got a warning due to her hubby's rank. People need to learn to follow the rules, or MOVE off post and find themselves in jail!
Can't wait for more installments!
