We traveled to the fabulous city of Turin (Torino) a couple of weeks ago and I'm just now uploading the photos. I took even more than usual, so there will be SIX blog posts total!!!! So stay tuned to see them all! The last two will contain the Egyptian Museum photos!
La bohème is an opera in four acts,[N 1] by Giacomo Puccini to an Italian libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, based on Scènes de la vie de bohème by Henri Murger. The world premiere performance of La bohème was in Turin on 1 February 1896 at the Teatro Regio[2] and conducted by the young Arturo Toscanini. Since then, La bohème has become part of the standard Italian opera repertory and is one of the most frequently performed operas internationally.

Pretty awesome, huh?? The weather as you can see was just glorious - sunny and warm!!! Next up tomorrow....we'll see the royal chapel of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist where the shroud of Turin is kept! Come back to see all!

Now that is definitely old world! The architecture is amazing! I was thinking, too, how lucky Bella is to see all these places and travel the world like this--wow! Be waiting for the next installment. :)
