Hello Kitty Birthday Card

Bella got invited to a birthday party being held today. We got the invitation on Wednesday. Is that normal?!? I thought 7 - 10 days notice was appropriate?!? Not three days! She also got invited to another party next Saturday, but we'll be in Portofino then, so she won't be able to go. So Bella was very anxious to be able to make it to this one!

This is the invitation:

Soooo, I thought - I know! I'll make a Hello Kitty birthday card!!! How hard could it be to make up a punch art card? Easy peasy, right? Not so much. I'm very happy with how it turned out, just not on how long it took me, lol! And you should have seen all the punches on my desk by the time I was finished!!!

The card:
Hopefully you can tell I tried to match the invitation.
If you can't, I tried to match the invitation!!!

I can pretty much guarantee that this was my first, and last!, Hello Kitty card! Hopefully the little girl will like it and it doesn't wind up in the trash this evening, lol!!! If you want to know how I did it, let me know and I can fill in some details.

Oh. My. Gosh! Never in a million years would I have attempted such an undertaking. I humbly bow to you. Hopefully the little girl will LOVE it.

Yes, at least a week notice would have been nice!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Gotta love Hello Kitty!

I was under the impression a week notice was the minimum requirement for sending out invitations to a party of any sort. I guess that went out of the window along with most of the manners that are neglected these days?

I love the card....and it is usually 7 - 10 days for an invitation. That is common curtesy.

Super AMAZING card, as always!

The only thing I can think of is that maybe it was a rushed party, or the girl's mom let her invite a few more people at the last minute. It seems like most people only give 5 days notice now...doesn't work out so well for me. If the little girl sent out hello kitty invites, I'm sure she'll love the card!

That's a great Hello Kitty birthday card, and it matches the invitation quite well. I'm sure the little girl will love it. (loved it) I hope Bella had fun at the party.

My great-niece loves princesses and fairies, so her mom had a Princess Tea Party for her for her 5th birthday party on Saturday. She invited four of Ariana's friends from pre-school, and they all had a wonderful time.

Three days notice is pretty short notice for a birthday party. :\
