And to make my life that much easier, I've combined two challenges (one sketch, one color), to make it a much smoother transition to stampin' bliss....
The Paper Players...
PDC doesn't label colors like some other challenges do, so you have to figure out exactly what colors you want to do on your own. SU doesn't make a light blue-green (mint) color, so I picked out my yellow and coral colors, and found a green which complimented those!
My challenge card:
Recipe:
Stamps: Cute by the Inch, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Strength & Hope (inside)
Paper: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz
Ink: Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon, 1" square punch, 1 1/4" sq. punch, nesties, dimensionals, sponge daubers, daisies #2 die (for reverse masking)
A much simpler card than I normally do, but I love the oh-so-soft look of the reverse masking sponging. What do you think?

This is relly really pretty! I love the reverse masking sponging; makes a gorgeous background! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!
Good to see a post from you, and glad to hear you were able to get some card making done! :)
Hooray, you're creating again. Lovely concoction. I love those colors. Good weekend.
Your background is so soft and lovely - what a great idea! I know what you mean about colours not always being true in photos, frustrating sometimes! Either way, this is just beautiful. Thanks for playing at The Paper Players this week.
wow you have been creative off line recently Jeannie, hope you are finding time to enjoy the fabulous weather as well. :)
How clever, Jeannie! I love how you created your own background paper! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!
OMGoodness, this is so cute! I LOVE that color challenge (just saw it this morning) and your interpretation is just so darling! Those little images are perfect! Thanks for playing with my sketch this week at the Paper Players!
This is such a cute card!! And two birds with one stone--hehe! Lovely colors and that "hi" inchie is so cute. :)
Love the reverse masking, I'll have to give that a try soon. The green you picked complements the other two colors very nicely!
Makes for a nice card. :)
WOW what a beautiful card and love the colour scheme. Linda x
