Amen to the Happy February! I am soooo over January.
My hubs has been out of town for four weeks in January.
Hate it.
Gets home Friday.
Amen!

Hope Bella starts doing well at class so her teacher can know how fabulous she is!

I'm excited to see the before and afters. They always inspire me!

It all goes back to " the teacher can't spend all of her time telling Bella to do her work". I swear it's like once they inform you of a problem its no longer theirs to worry about. I am sure they tell her like 3 times to do it and if she doesn't well it's on her, mom has been told. I wish kids did everything they were told to do when they were told but they don't work like that.

Here's to better days though my friend...I am sure they are on the horizon.

Oh gosh I remember the days of cleaning up the play rooms..eeeks!! Just don't forget to hang a sign on the door before you go in saying you were there and what time in case you get totally lost in the chaos! lol

Sorry you've had bad vibes lately. Surely February will purge the gloom. Having been a teacher, I can only guess that some personalities (Bella and teacher) don't meld. Chalk it up to a learning experience and make sure you get her with a good match next year. My daughter had a bad second grade experience, but we toughed it out and I think she learned how to get along better with someone she doesn't necessarily like. It's not ideal, I know. Will bribery help? Like if she continues to get positives and get her work done at school, she can do something special.

Well at least you can get her to do her school work. I guess be glad for that.

I know you're more than ready for that cold weather to move out! I've had enough of it, too, though we did have BEA-U-TI-FUL weather over the weekend...low 70's! Wonder why Bella won't do her work in class? Too many distractions or is the teacher not motivating her enough? Hope things get resolved soon! Hang in there!

Maybe she needs to get stars at home on her chart for being good in school, too--even if you have to check with the teacher say every week. The stars seem to work at home? Sounds like maybe she needs to find a way to learn how to be more self-motivated. Maybe talk with the counselor again? She had some good ideas.

Hope you are all in a great mood and the week looks better and better. :):)

I'm SO over this cold weather too...but the past few days it's reached 70, so I can't complain too much.
Don't get too down about Bella's progress...sometimes it can take a few months for those very determined kids to realize they aren't in charge :o) You guys can do it!!

I'm goign to do my part... I'm going to make sure that stupid GroundHog sees (or doesn't see - I can never remember which way it works) his shadow!

I'm sorry you've been struggling so much with Bella!

February is coming in like a ferocious lion here - Blizzard and predicted 20 inches or more of snow. Ugh.

Hopefully Bella will figure out that she has to do the work! She is such a smart kid. They just need to work with her to figure out what is going on. Good luck. I know she will come around!

Take care hun.

I usually LOVE winter but I'm ready for Spring too! This winter seems to just keep dragging on! HAPPY FEBRUARY to you too!

Hang in there, kiddo. Spring will be here soon. I'm hoping Phil doesn't see his shadow tomorrow so we'll get that early spring. With the weather forecast for Punxsutawney, I don't see how he could.

I hear you with parallel bad moods. Not good at all!

I got your card from Christmas! It was forwarded from my old address. Gorgeous; thank you!

Have you asked Bella if there is anything her teacher could do a little differently to get her to cooperate, or is she just rebelling a little bit? Hope things improve!

We just got 9 inches of snow and it's -2. At least I've got some sun today too!
