Purse Shopping!

With all the sleep I'm NOT getting lately, the last thing I wanted to do was to go out anywhere, to do anything!! But one of my neighbors had purchased two tickets to go on an MWR Italian designer purse trip and the other person going pooped out on her at the last minute. Soooo....I decided to try and suck it up and go! I'm so glad I did too!
Shopping 2

I know I said I would bring my camera (which I did), but I never took it out, lol!! There was just too much going on! Picture it,... small room, twenty women, Italian leather on clearance....not exactly a time to be trying to take pictures!! More like a time to get there first and snatch up something awesome!

The first showroom we went to was Nicoli. Great, great styles and wowie - fabulous deals!! You can go to their website HERE. We were shopping for last season's clearances and our group got an additional 20% off!! Love it!!

I had to use the flash to get a good shot. It's a cognac color, not bright like this!! Love this "Kelly Bag" style!!! I got the purse for 65 euro and the wallet for 35 euro. Incredible!!
The designer tag! It's awesome!!

I was also able to get the matching wallet.

Inside of the wallet.

I also got this across-the-chest style purse. This is going to be perfect for when we go sight seeing!! I won't have to carry around a larger, heavier purse and it will free up my hands. Plus no one is going to be able to pick-pocket me!!! This is calf leather - sooooo soft and sooooo shiney! The deep, rich burgundy color is so amazing and these pictures don't come close to showing it off!
The flash ruins the color! But the inside is in silk and leather.
All this loveliness for only 20 euro!!

We made a quick pit stop at the most beautiful cafe I've been to since I arrived in Italy! Everything was done in whites and soft pinks - gorgeous!!!! You would think it sounds girly, but it was elegant and there was so much to feast your eyes on. They had the most incredible bakery there too. I will definitely be going back again soon, and taking pictures!

Then we were off to Francesco Biasia. (Their website is HERE.) We were told that this showroom was more "high end", and although it was still clearance items and we would still be getting a 20% discount, that the prices were going to be much higher than at Nicoli. But I was still able to find a gem!!!

My incredible DEAL!!
Yes, this is python.
Yes, it's fabulous.
AND IT'S ALL MINE!!!!

I got this amazing bag for only 100 euro!!!
Originally 600!!
Shot without the flash, so you can see the color a bit better. It's actually lighter than this, but darker than with the flash. So somewhere in the middle!! Lovely shades of a mauve-y brown and pinks. And it feels so incredible!!!
Bottom of the bag.

You can loosen the sides and the bottom to make it bigger if you want to. I plan to keep it as it is, because I love the shape of it.

So there you have it! Three purses and a wallet!!! And all before noon!
What.A.Life!!

I'm actually not a girl for purses and shoes and all that, but I like the burgundy shoulder bag. Glad you had a good time, tho. :)

Oh, this is my kind of shopping trip! Some girls are into tons of shoes...not me...I'd rather get a new handbag! Love the first 2, but the python...not so much - lol! I'm not a snake lover! :-) So glad you had a fun time!

Love the burgandy bag. It is awesome...and such good deals. One of my students bought the most gorgeous leather jacket the last time we were there...it was robins egg blue and felt like satin the leather was so soft...for 65 euros. It was exquisite. I was to into the Milano glass company and all the stuff I bought there. :-) I did buy some sandals though....cute little Italian numbers.

I want to see pictures of you modeling all those purses?
I don't know about the brand names or what a euro is worth, but I am totally impressed!!!!!

You really know how to score.

It's awesome that people in Italy don't have parties like tupperware or Mary Kay, they do purses. Your life totally rocks.

How fun is that!!! I do all my purse shopping at Target or Ross! :P Great finds! Isn't it a bit frustrating how difficult it can be to capture the right color with a camera? Can't the camera just reflect what you see with your eyes? (OK, that's what I'm always thinking when I take pictures.) Nothing like a little retail therapy to brighten up a gray day, eh? :)

You really got some deals. I am a boring puse person. I buy one and use it until it is worn out. Oh well!

The new cafe sounds like fun. Can't wait for you to go back and take some photos.

Really diggin that second purse because of the strap on it. I used to wear the strap shorter because my shoulders slope a bit and a longer strap tends to slide off. However, lately the shoulder and elbow can't handle the weight of any purse so I've resorted to wearing an across the body style. I needed to free up the one hand anyhow now that my left is occupied with a cane.
