Yesterday, she still had a fever, and yet was still as energetic as ever. But when afternoon rolled around, she again wanted to take a nap. I told her to just go upstairs to bed, but she wanted to be on the couch. Bella NEVER wants to take a nap, so you know she's sick when she does. I let her sleep for an hour and then woke her up. She and Thomas played Wii for about an hour while I made dinner. That was the first meal she really didn't have much of an appetite but she did eat some - with lots of prompting.
This morning she woke up about a half hour early, coughing really hard. She had just a bit of a fever left and probably could have gone to school today. But seeing how she was sick all weekend and was coughing, it was easier to keep her home then turn around and pick her up early if she started coughing hard again. Because you know she's gonna try and milk this for all it's worth, lol!

It sounds like she has bronchitis to me. My son used to get that a lot when he was a kid, and then when he was 16, he got a really bad case of pneumonia. Had a fever of 105 at one point, and it took a good month before he was feeling better. I hope Bella feels better soon. *hugs to you both*

Yep...when that "N" word (nap) hasn't been in their vocabulary for some time and they want to take one then you know something is up. With all the rest and all the cuddling today...I feel sure she will be "THE BELLA" again..all bright and ready for an adventure by tomorrow. NOW..let's just keep stay well thoughts in our hearts for mommie to stay well.

Poor Bella! If she has been running a fever for three days she definitely has something. I used to have a three days rule when Dagan was little. Sick/fever for three days then go to the doctor to have it checked out. I hope she is better soon! :)

I hope she is feeling better real soon...no fun! I thought Brad felt a little warm this morning when he woke up but he was fine. He would have been so disappointed since it was his BD and you can't be sick then.
