Occasions Mini Sneak Peek!

I'm so excited!!! I got my new goodies from Stampin Up in yesterday and I've had a BLAST playing with them! They're from the upcoming Occasions Mini catalog and ohmygosh - what fun! As I mentioned before, while I can't just show you the items themselves, I can show you how I've used them. I know, it doesn't make any sense to me either...but them's the rules.

There is a brand new stamp set called Build A Blossom, that has a coordinating punch! So you just stamp.....and punch!!! Easy peasy! The colors and combinations are limited only to your imagination! Here are my first (but definitely not last!!!) cards:

Of course I had to make a daisy first!! They're my favorite!!! The ribbon I used was also in my order - I got it on clearance - woooo hoooo!!!
I so love how this turned out, glitter & all!!

This is the second card I made:
I used two different blue inks (Bashful Blue - offstamped to make it lighter, & Bordering Blue) to give this flower more dimension, as well as making more petals. Each layer is lifted up by dimensionals, and the top two layers I used an embossing stylus to curl the edges. The middle layer curl downward, and the top layer curl upward. Each petal is also stamped twice; once in a background color (Bashful Blue - off-stamped) and then again with the detail color (Bordering Blue). I finished it off with a pearl center and some Dazzling Diamonds glitter!
Using the flash, you can see the embossed background better.

What do you think?? Just wait...tomorrow I'll be using more cool goodies. I'm feeling very "cupcake-y", lol!!! Stay tuned...

That "yellow" card is purty!

Can I say that? "Yellow"... just plain ol' ordinary "yellow"?

That comment you had about nor showing the stuff mad me laugh. I am so twisted in the mornings. These are very pretty and I may need to order these for Mothers Day or something.
