Inspiring Quotes Wednesday - Birthday Edition!

Happy 21st Birthday Alexandria!!

You could have been HERE, with ME, getting spoiled rotten...but alas, you are currently at Basic Training. Flying into the blue. Like I did, another lifetime ago. I miss you so much my heart hurts, but as always, I'm more proud of you than I can possibly say!! My first baby...all grown up. Did I mention that I miss you???? I'm not going to cry......too much.

Quotes for today:

"Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children." Charles R. Swindoll

"Life, love, and laughter - what priceless gifts to give our children." Phyllis Dryden

"Don't throw away your friendship with your teenager over behavior that has no great moral significance. There will be plenty of real issues that require you to stand like a rock. Save your big guns for those crucial confrontations." Dr. James C. Dobson

"Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do.
Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children." Alex Haley

"If you raise your children to feel that they can accomplish any goal or task they decide upon, you will have succeeded as a parent and you will have given your children the greatest of all blessings." Brian Tracy

"If I had one wish for my children, it would be that each of them would reach for goals that have meaning for them as individuals." Lillian Carter

"Your children will see what you're all about by what you live rather than what you say." Wayne Dyer

"Listen to the desires of your children. Encourage them and then give them the autonomy to make their own decision." Denis Waitley

"In the final analysis it is not what you do for your children but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings." Ann Landers

You share the birthday with my son Dan, he just started the celebration 4 years earlier!
