Just call me Eeyore

Oh bother! I just can't seem to get outta the funk I'm in. It started on Saturday, with 9/11 memorials and reliving that awful, awful day all over again. As a NYer and an Army wife, it was just as hard now as it was then. Went to a BBQ Saturday night, and was so completely ignored that I just left with Bella, who was being a beast anyway. When exactly did I become invisible??? Then I got my period on Sunday. And here it is on Monday.....and.....blah humbug! Last Monday we found out that our household goods were in fact NOT in country, and NOT being delivered that week as promised. Now they are saying it will be here in Vicenza Thursday and delivered on Friday. I do not believe it. At all. And our icky Army furniture is being picked up on Friday morning, in preparation of our delivery that same day. Do you have any idea how nervous that makes me??? We will be left with NOTHING but our luggage and the few things we've purchased since moving here if we don't get our stuff!!!! I have zero faith. Zero trust. What I do have is a whole lotta stress and a wicked bad headache. Goes nicely with my cramping and general malaise. Not so happy in my world right now.

Sorry.

Sorry to hear you're having an Eeyore kinda day. Been there and can understand. Hope it gets better!

Oh, Jeannie, I sure hope it gets better. I am SO glad I don't have to deal with periods anymore.

I will pray your stuff shows up on time!

You totally deserve a pity party, Jeannie!

OMG that BLOWS!! How can they do this to you guys? It's like they are holding your belongings for ransom or something.

I'm so sorry. I will pray that you get your things this week. Is there any way to get an extension on your "rental" of the Army furniture? Although one of those aero-bed air mattress things would likely be better to sleep on than the rocks you have now.

This just sucks!

Let it out, girl. I mean, it's GOT to get better soon, right?

At least Eeyore probably had furniture, lol!

Praying for your stuff to arrive to cheer you up & for the energy to take care of it all.

Hugs & love

I hope things are getting better! I'm following you from the thread on Stampin Connection (missed you the first time around and going back through all of them!) I invite you to stop by and follow me as well (if you're not already) at http://rocpaperstamps.blogspot.com
Have a great day!

Jeanne I'm sorry your having such a bad week!! Cheer up. Where did you move to?

So sorry honey!! I do have faith, that YOU can make it through anything! You're a new yorker, and an army wife...if anyone can survive tough times, it's YOU! I feel invisible like you mentioned often too...I don't know when I was moved to the "ignore" position, but it's definitely awkward. I'm a fan of the leaving tactic, because if you're not going to talk to me, you're not going to miss me.

Then I take my butt-hurt self home and try to feel better about it. <3

Aww...I'm sorry you're going through all that. Hope everyting works out and you get your stuff.

(But I know. The whole 9-11 Memorial stuff had me a little depressed this weekend too.)

Hang in there hun. It will all work itself out. I'll bet your stuff will make it on Friday. I mean, they have to come through with it sometime! Don't they?

It's OK to feel low some days--especially when you have none of your stuff and it's been a tough month and there's that period thing and...I so hope things get better and arrive belatedly on time. Have faith! It should work out eventually. What choice does the universe have but to EVENTUALLY see that you're happier.

I don't blame you for being in a funk...I can't believe the crap you have gone through with your furniture...

If it makes you feel better, I got my book in the mail on Friday! I hope to read at least the first chapter tomorrow! :)

Hang in there girl!

I hope it's just part of the period week and that you'll be out of the funk very soon!

You have a very legit reason to be in this funk!!! That really sucks about your furniture. I would be bummed too! And to be at a BBQ with people all around ignoring you...well that is just plain rotten. You need to come here and we can do a few Mojitos...then you won't care what happens!! Ha!!
Hugging you

That funk seems to be going around...but at least you have a cute eeyore to look at! :o)

Sorry that the move has been such a disaster. And military parties almost always suck...and the ones I've been too lately...unless you're playing beer pong, no one notices you.

Sending big hugs, and a swift kick in the rear to any retards you come across. After you give them a flying elbow to the pancreas, just say, "that's courtesy of Mary...so take it up with her!" (Oh, and tape it!)
