Hot Diggity Dog!! :D

The Bella is back in school!! Here she is modeling her brand new dress!
Pretty as a picture!
Just look at that happy smile!
Ta da!!

It was a little cool so we wore jackets, but we were hot by the time we got to school. From our doorstep to the school door, it's more than 1/4 mile so it was a nice little walk. Bella talked non-stop the whole way, and insisted upon carrying her own backpack and lunch box herself. She's officially a Big Girl now - just ask her!!! LOL! Her teacher is the only one of the 6 1st grades to have an Immersion Class - where half the class day is in English and the other is in Italian. The waiting list is long but we were lucky enough to get Bella in and I'm sure it's because of her stellar grades in Kindergarten. Go Bella! That kid is as sharp as a tack and never forgets a thing, so I'm sure she'll be speaking Italian in no time!! Isn't that so awesome?!?!?
Waiting for the other kids to show up. Bella is SO PROUD of her new lunch box and so happy not to be eating school lunches anymore. It's Disney Princess.....no surprise there, huh??
She did get nervous when I told her we were leaving. I've NEVER seen her be shy or anxious in her entire life!!! She wanted lots of hugs and kisses. But the teacher's assistant rescued us when I was starting to worry about unclenching Bella from my arm. She made the mistake of asking her about her lunch box and the next thing you know Bella is telling her all about it and then started to itemize every toy she owns.....poor teacher!
Blowing me one last kiss!

It's kinda weird to be alone in the house. Weird as in totally fabulous, lol!!!! And I'm sure Bella will have lots and lots and lots and lots to share when I pick her up this afternoon! And I can't wait to hear all about it!

Such a cutie pie you have Jeannie. Her dress was adorable!! That's fantastic that you were able to get her in the Immersion classes and I'm sure she will be speaking fluently very soon.

Alone time...LOL...I feel lost at first and then it's like.."I can design and sculpt all day..YEAH"
Enjoy your YOU time!!!

Her name fits so perfectly with your new country. Love the dress. She'll love this new experience. The grandtwins went to kindergarten last Monday. Sniff! Grandma Jo thinks they're growing up too soon. Now you can make those cute cards...

She looks and sounds aweseme. It is great that you got her into the immersion class. You said you are going to start studying Italian now that she is back in school. Are you using the Rosetta Stone program? We ordered the sample CD's and they were awesome but the cost was way more than we could justify when we didn't really need to learn a new language.

Congrats on getting your car FINALLY!

She is so darn cute! I think all kids are scared when mom and dad leave that first time in Kindergarten...but you wait, tomorrow will be so different.

Enjoy your own time mom! I am counting down the days...5 days and they are back in school! ;)
