Making some progress...

I just thought I'd share a couple of photos of what I've been up to all week. Today is the last day to get ready and then tomorrow, bright and early, the sale will start. It's a post wide sale, so we should have quite a bit of traffic! Hopefully anyway!

Empty spot!
ALL of Bella's Dora and Diego toys are now in the garage and hopefully will be in someone else's house tomorrow! We had 70 videos of just them!!! 70!!! Yikes! Bella was such a huge fan...

More empty spots
Her "Dora guys" box is gone, as well as her potato head collection and little ponies. In that Princess box were all her Diego animals, but now it's empty.

Almost all the "stuff" on this shelf is gone.

And the bottom of the closet is all cleared out too. What's left is neat and organized as it was a HUGE MESS!!!

My nightmare!!
At this point, everything has been brought to the garage, but nothing priced or organized yet.

I used two fans to keep it bearable. It's SO HOT here!!!

Just about everything is pushed to the right side.

Just LOOK at all this stuff!!!!!

Oy!

Are you feeling my pain yet???

Last night we brought down Bella's kitchen. It was the very first thing she mentioned this morning. She's very sad about me selling it. However she only plays with it when someone comes over; never on her own. Good-bye pretty kitchen!

I can see some floor!!
Everything on the left hand side has been priced. Thomas helped me a lot last night. I'd say about 80% is done and the rest I will do today and try to display as much as I can with the garage door closed. The rest will have to be brought out on the porch and driveway tomorrow. I have the signs all ready and we'll put them up this afternoon.

It's mostly big stuff left and will be easy to get done.

Yesterday's work

I am so beyond tired and I have a sinus headache this morning. It's not supposed to rain, so it's probably all the dust I've been breathing in. I'm more allergic to dust than I am dogs and I'm deathly allergic to dogs...

Did I mention I hate garage sales?????

oH wow...I do feel your pain. It makes me remember what I'd have to go through if we ever move again! Good luck with your sale tomorrow!

Ugh! That brings back memories better left buried. Expect the garage salers to beat you up no matter what you price your stuff at. They are brutal and mean! On that happy note, good luck, my friend. It'll be over soon.

I will cross my fingers that you sell everything and make a ton of money.

You are so organized, Jeannie. Everything looks great and I just hope your sale tomorrow brings lots and lots of buyers in to relieve you of the excess toys and other things (and hopefully lots of money, too). Good luck.

Here is hoping for a successful sale. I hope you sell it all. Your garage looked like my house a couple of weeks ago. I am down to less than 20 boxes to unload and be put away. THEN...I can start deciding...where pictures are going to go. I have to live with that a bit. Have fun tomorrow...and I feel your pain...I hate yard sales too.

Incredible. You should be on one of those HTV shows that people learn how to organize. I know my garage looks identical to yours before your cleaning.

I find few things as satisfying as the sight of a freshly emptied shelf. Good luck with the sale!

Good luck in the morning. We are going garage saling in the AM...the neighborhood behind us does a huge one so we walk back there. Then home to get ready for Em's BD...oh my, long day for both of us! :)

Just tell Bella that Italy will have way cooler toys...:)

Wow, that's a lot of stuff. You did great getting things organized and set up like you did.

I hope your garage sale was a huge success. :)

I feel your pain, first, because my husband is also allergic to animals and dust and pretty much everything outside. But when he works in our garage, cleaning it and stuff, it makes him so sick. I feel sad for him. And now I feel sad for you too because it is such a pain to get sick from being in your own garage!

Second, I feel your pain because there is no way I would want to organize any of all that stuff. I would just call up a charity and have them drive up and load it up and take it away. Yep, because I would rather give it away than organize it and hold a garage sale. Not very money-savy of me, I know.

So, I hope that for your troubles that your garage sale is a huge success!!!

I had this weird dream that I drove to the post and went to your sale and bought everything - tossed it all in a moving van and boxed it all up and shipped it all to some Army base in Italy...

...and oh yeah, you got to sign for it when you get there...
