My Sunday Blessings

Wow! This week really flew by!! Did you think so too? On Friday we had "Date Night", which was really date "day". Thomas and I hit up Starbucks, then Hobby Lobby and then lunch at Atlanta Bread Co.! After that we were both really ready for a nap, lol! The weather turned much warmer and it was sunny (a miracle in itself in rain-soggy Georgia!!), so it was an all-round fabulous day! Wanna see what we picked up??

Two more lovelies to finish up the "Italian wall"!! These were not on sale, sadly, but there was only one of each and I didn't want to risk it, as it was exactly what I was looking for!
See how great it looks now?
Love it!!!
And together, we finally decided on these items for the kitchen. These were half off but yikes, still not cheap!! We'll go back soon (like next payday, lol!) for more greenery, grapes, etc.
Along with greenery, I'll also pick up a burnished medallion for the center, currently "naked" area above the stove hood. It's going to look so awesome!!!
(Please ignore the clutter!!!)
These were purchased 18 months ago when we moved here and yet match perfectly! (click to enlarge if you'd like.)

And in the Stamping Studio...
Three packages of treats heading out on Tuesday!
In the middle of putting away ALL my birthday treasures! I put all the new ribbon on my holders, put the new punches away, and am in the process of putting my new stamp sets in the new DVD cases and turning them into unmounted sets. It's going to be a longggg, ongoing process to completely switch over, but it will be fantastic when I'm finished!
There is a lot of waste when getting new sets. Seems a shame!
MESSY desk!! Ugh! I hate it when it gets like this, lol!
Don't worry, it's all cleaned up now!
See? We drink iced tea year round here, lol!!!
I found perfect little additions for this spot!
Do you notice a theme???
I cleaned off the top of my desk, except for these.
I picked up two of these, for craft supplies, but it's currently holding my dark chocolate peanut M&Ms quite nicely, lol! Crackle glass rocks!
Daisies are my favorite!!!
Eiffel Tower with the mini lights on it. This took me forever and was a huge pain. I hate that the cords are showing like that, but oh well!
It looks really cool in the dark!
I've had these lights in the garage forever, waiting to be put up on our back deck. Now that I don't smoke anymore, we never go out there!! So I put them to good use in my room, lol!
Cleaned up and re-organized this bookshelf.
Vickie gave me this birthday card!
It's so darling!!! Thank you Vickie!!!
I made this for a sick friend.
This was for my card group. It's so much cuter in person!
During one of my swaps I hosted, someone flaked out on a participant, so I made her a cute little box with some crafting supplies in it.
I made this card yesterday - hope she likes it, lol!
Yesterday was my one year anniversary with Rachel!! One year of stamping bliss!! She totally cracked up but loved the card!
Card I made to go with one of the boxes on my chair. I'm so loving all my new stamps and goodies!!!
Inside of card

As you can see, lots of fun was had this week!! I need to get back in the habit of taking pictures of Bella again! Her hair is getting so long!!!! We're so busy when she gets home from school til bedtime it seems. I hope you all had a great week and that the upcoming one is even better!

You have been a busy girl! I'm on a year-long mission to organize and clean out. However, I have to admit, there are a few closets I've opened and been so overwhelmed, I decided to wait til December to tackle that project!

I wouldn't need a container for the M&M's. They disappear to quickly at my house.

Nice additions to your rooms.

Ya, all the things on the wall are so great....BUT WHAT ABOUT HOBBY LOBBY????? Did ya go there????
I don't have one anywhere near here so I live vicariously through you.
Loved your craft room.
What did you mean about changing your stamps to DVD cases?

I got a bunch of awesome SU things from a friend who is getting rid of her stuff. Stamps and pads...so excited. Some even unmounted.
Loved the cards!

I'm so glad to see what you're doing with the space above the cabinets in the kitchen. I have the same problem. Neal hates it because he says it's a total waste of space to not have cabinets that extend to the ceiling. I'm inclined to agree with him. So, it's a constant battle. But I do like the greenery and the plates! A lot! The Eiffel Tower came out super-cute...especially in the dark. And um...is Marilyn Monroe in your kitchen or your stamping room? I'm so confused.

You've really done a nice job decorating your house and making it your home. Is there any stamping stuff you don't have? :-)

Very nice job in the kitchen. Now to find a water jug for the cooking supplies (spoons, spatulas, etc) and a clock in the same print as the rest... (not to mention towels and pot holders and and and...)
