So I was talking on the phone with Christina this morning, for a couple of hours, and I started feeling hungry. REALLY hungry. So I'm saying good-bye while going through the cupboards to see what I could find. I found Belgium waffle mix and exclaimed, "I'm feeling waffle-ly!!" For some absurd reason, she thought that was hysterical and busted out laughing!!
So I said, "Oh yeah? Well I'm going to HAVE some waffles and take a picture of them and put it on my blog!!". And so I have, lol! I didn't have raspberries turns out and had to make do with blackberries. It was delish!!! It's my birthday and I say....LET THEM EAT WAFFLES!!!
Travel tip:
DO NOT inhale Belgium waffles. It hurts. A lot.

Ooooh yummmmmm! If my Monday Weigh-In next week shows a gain, I'm blaming YOU!
You ask...what is the very best appliance my husband made upon his return from Iraq? It's a Belgium waffle maker!! I had to scale my waffle-intake WAY back because it wasn't doing anything for the fit of my jeans...but on my birthday, Neal makes me Ghiradelli chocolate chip waffles, drenched in warm syrup and chocolate sauce. It would make you slap your Mama.
Happy birthday! Now I'm feeling Waffle-y... except that I'm all out of waffles... none for the toaster and my waffle maker has gone on to greener pastures.
