Feeling icky, but gotta Funny!

Ohmygosh!! I was up half the night in the bathroom!!! I WILL NEVER, EVER AGAIN EAT PEANUTS IN THE SHELL!!! (Note: No, I don't eat the shells. I was saying what kind of peanuts they were. Just watch, there will be some massive recall any moment!!!) I must have grabbed a bad bag of them because they very nearly killed me. Talk about your Jimmy Carter Conspiracies!!! Well, it made me feel like I was dying. Or did I just wish I was dying?? I dunno, something. By the time I had to get up to get Bella ready this morning, it seriously felt like I had been brutally violated in the tush. Lovely word picture, huh? You're welcome.

Anywhosers, I have a super funny, true Bella story to share with you. You all know by now that neither one of us are chipper morning peeps. So I was trying to get Bella psyched up for the day. Especially how she was pretty bad in class yesterday. So I said that today was Tuesday and that she had P.E. class today.

She said, "No we don't."

I said, "Yes you do, it's Tuesday."

She said, "No, not this week. The ceiling said no art, music or P.E. this week."

At first I'm like, what??? The ceiling?? And then I totally cracked up!!! The ceiling, aka the intercom! Bella has such an imagination that it isn't remarkable to her that the ceiling, an inanimate object, would "talk". She just accepted it that the classroom ceiling talks sometimes. And she totally didn't understand why I was laughing, much less snorting at her. Kids, gotta love 'em!!

My husband eats whole peanuts, shell and all. Disgusting.

Well I have to give you a couple thumbs up (and a smack on the ass - yeah, I know...it's sensitive back there) for even figuring that out. It would have taken me days and probably 2 or 3 trips to Bella's classroom to deduce that it was the intercom and not some daily schedule glued to the ceiling tiles. But then, maybe you've gotten good at Bella-speak. That is QUITE the imagination...I just can't imagine where she got it from...

As tempting as it is to comment about your violated tushy I'm going to let it go. :)

When I was a kid I swore that church pews were actually called church pukes, but the ceiling never spoke to me.

hehehe! Amazing what the kids can come up with isn't it? Now, were you eating the whole shell and everything or just popping the peanuts out??

Once had a student who thought that God was in charge of the intercom. Go figure. Hope you feel better soon!

Only you could go from icky to hysterical that fast! LOL

At least you understood her when she said "the ceiling", I would have been calling the school, trying to find out what the heck they are doing to the kids there.

Bella is a cutie. Gotta love it. LOL

I hope you're feeling much better now. I can't eat peanuts or cashews (which are my favorite) or any kind of nuts anymore. They send me to the little girl's room for awhile and make me feel like I'm dying (or wish i was dying and just get it over with) like you. *hugs*

The ceiling told me it was time to go to bed. I should be smart like Bella and obey it.
