Thank you for passing on Blackberries to Apples. I think it means a LOT more to us than it does others (especially this time of year) but I appreciate it when people at least try to see where we're coming from. I spent 2 hours with the wife of a deployed soldier yesterday. He's coming home in February but we wouldn't be human if we didn't think "if/when he comes home"...it's not a positive thought...but it's one that I had a lot, nonetheless. This post just drove all of that home for me and I really debated about featuring it. (since I think I'm considered "funny" and all)...but if I'm not authentic then I may as well not even be here. And that, for me, was as authentic as it gets. I wish you and your family a VERY Merry Christmas. May God bless you in many wonderful ways in the coming year.

Or, as my Grandpa used to say, "I love you just the way you are, and don't you ever switch!"
