It will take some time for the investigations to be conducted and all the questions we have to be answered. I would hope that for just once, the mainstream media would only relate SUBSTANTIATED FACTS, and not pure speculation!!! We don't need drama added to this situation! We need news for information, not something pulled from your ass because you need to fill up some time!
Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who were killed and wounded yesterday and for their families. My prayer is also that Fort Hood can come together in unity, and that any ethic tensions be dispelled without any further violence. We have been badly shaken, but we are still and always will be, Army Strong!
HOOAH!!

Such an awful, sad day!
Thanks hun for the thoughts and prayers.
The media is dramatic? Really? I'm sure that NEVER happens? ;) ;)
It really is a tragedy when someone ends the lives of so many so senselessly. It's scary to realize that it can happen to anyone, anywhere. I hope the families and people involved receieve comfort and closure so that they can continue to live their lives without fear.
I am praying! I have a friend, her husband, and their two very young boys, that live on post at Ft. Hood, and I was able to talk to her yesterday and know they were all okay. What a tragedy...so sad! :(
Such a tragedy. You put it so well. Prayers are going out from here.

It's heartbreaking for our whole nation, but I'm sure so much more so for you that are in the military.
Hugs & love
It enrages me that this shooter is a psychiatrist, and attacked his fellow brothes/sisters in arms.
Just shows you that no one is immune to psychotic tendencies.
I think its hard hearign about this kind of tragedy anywhere, but when you are in TEXAS, and many military friends it is harder. My heart goes out to all those families. Its been on our local news channels all day!
Very sad:( And there was a work shooting in Florida! The world sometimes is so scary.
It is just awful!!!!
I still can't believe it. I truly feel sick...:(
Yes I too was so worried about Christina's family.
(((Hugs)))
Thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families affected by the tragedy at Fort Hood.
My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I am so glad Christina's family is safe and unharmed but what a scary time, huh? I pray that somehow something good can come of all this but right now I have no idea what that might be! Gentle Hugs!!!
This is soooo sad... my thoughts and prayers are with their families.
My prayers go out to the families and victims, too. When my sister told me over the phone that this had happened, my first instinct was to look out the windows, because I live on an Army post, too! I actually thought for a moment that closing the blinds might offer us some protection us if there was an attack. Such a sad day.
