My Sunday Blessings

How many times have I asked Him to shorten my cross?

Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine
after the rain.

Perhaps you may stumble,
perhaps even fall,
But God's always ready,
to answer your call.

He knows every heartache,
sees every tear,
A word from His lips,
can calm every fear.

Your sorrows may linger,
throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish,
in dawn's early light.

The Savior is waiting,
somewhere above,
To give you His grace,
and send you His love.

Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
God always sends rainbows,
after the rain.

To get out of difficulty, one must usually go through it!

What an inspirational Sunday post! I know that whatever the burden, He won't necessarily shorten my cross, but will make that burden somewhat bearable. I noticed over at SITS that you've got lots o' laundry to do. Me, too. Have fun!

I've never seen this before but it's so absolutely perfect.

One of my favorite quotes and I only remember two (lol) is:

God won't put you through what he can't pull you through.

The cartoon reminds me of that quote.

I love this cartoon. It always hits me in my struggles. He will never give us more then we can handle so we need not whine.

THAT is a great lesson we ALL need to learn.

It amazes me how when I need it most, He speaks to me. I needed to see this today. My boyfriend and I are suddenly faced with uncertainty and are stuck with questions, and all we want is answers, but I know deep in my heart that God will provide if we are just patient and follow His guidance and do His will. Thank you for sharing!!!

Mom sent this one to me a while back, I think I have it posted in my other blog. It's a good reminder, no matter how many times you see it though.
