My Sunday Blessings

Tomorrow will be the one week point of my diet! Thanks to Mother Nature (and her nasty lil present!) the scale may not be very cooperative tomorrow on my first weigh-in. With the exception of going nutz for about 30 minutes on Friday night, I've been 100% on plan! I was so crazy hungry!!! Now I know that when this happens I'm set for a nice loss on the scale, but I gave in. Two extra desserts (chocolate) and light popcorn. Then I felt like a louse the next day. Enough so that I'm full-on commited now!!!

What I learned this week:
* That I CAN take back control of my eating!
* My family CAN survive a week without junky, fast food!
* Cutting out a ton of fat, sugar, and bad carbs from your diet REALLY makes a difference in how you feel right away!
* Even when the scale is being a no-good, rotten b&*%h, clothes can feel looser!
* Water does quench thirst the best!
* It's really not that big of a deal to make salads everyday
* Celery is my new best friend!
* I can plan my entire day's meals, except dessert! I never know in advance what I'm going to want!!
* It really is possible to think about food 24/7, but I don't recommend it!!!!
* I'm doing this for me, and no one is going to stop me! NOT EVEN ME!!!!!

Here's to another fabulous week ahead!!!

Good luck this week! Dieting is so hard, but you've got a good plan and you're focused. Wishing you success on the scales (despite that darn mother nature ;))

Best of luck on the scales! No matter what, remember that you made a change in your life, you feel better, and when you feel better, you look better...no matter what!

Celery is a miracle food. You can eat 10 pounds of it if need be, and all you are doing is filling up on water! Genius!

Good for you. You can do this. If you could drop that addicting nasty filthy habit and be free and clear of it, this should be a snap!

Scales can lie. The way clothing fits always tells the truth. :)

I think if you ate something you weren't supposed to but mostly stuck with the diet pretty closely that it would still be OK.

The best part is that you start feeling better. I keep telling myself that eating should be for the way it makes us feel and the energy it gives our bodies and not just for the gratification of eating. I don't often persuade myself when it comes to choosing what to eat but I really believe that it should be the most significant guiding factor.

WTG!!! Just remember that cheating every once in awhile is ok. Depriving yourself if you're really wanting something isn't good, that's when you'll eat too much of it. Keep up the great work, I know you'll continue to look and feel great!
