My Sunday Blessings

Cats & Dogs
What is a CAT?
1. Cats do what they want.
2. They rarely listen to you.
3. They're totally unpredictable.
4. When you want to play, they want to be alone.
5. When you want to be alone, they want to play.
6. They expect you to cater to their every whim.
7. They're moody.
8. They leave hair everywhere.
CONCLUSION: They're tiny women in little fur coats.

What is a DOG?
1. Dogs spend all day sprawled on the most comfortable piece of furniture in the house.
2. They can hear a package of food opening half a block away, but don't hear you when you're in the same room.
3. They can look dumb and lovable all at the same time.
4. They growl when they are not happy.
5. When you want to play, they want to play.
6. When you want to be alone, they want to play.
7. They leave their toys everywhere.
8. They do disgusting things with their mouths and then try to give you a kiss!
9. They go right to your crotch as soon as they meet you.
CONCLUSION: They're tiny men in little fur coats.

Not my "usual" Sunday post, but I thought laughter might be the best blessing possible on the start of a new week. Alex & Bella will be home soon and then we are going out to lunch, and then the mall to see the Easter Bunny. Just some girl time. I am soooo going to miss Alex when she moves to Germany next month. Letting your children go........is there ANYTHING more heartbreaking for a Mom???? But I can't think about that now. I'll think about that later......

very cute :)

And no, I don't think there will be anything harder for me than letting my kids go... luckily for me my oldest is only 7 so I have at least... what... 11 years or so before I have to face that dread!

LOVE the comparisons!

Brittney goes to college in ONE year! I am already starting to have mini panic attacks!

I like the dog and cat analogy! Especially a dog's hearing-so true! Love it!

How funny! What does that say about me if I would rather have a dog than a cat anyday?!

It will be so hard to let go. I am lucky I still have a long time with mine. But I know it will fly by!!

The Easter bunny hasn't been at our mall since my oldest kids were 4. Can you believe it?

I think it is interesting that you must have been in Germany around when you were her age, too.

Actually, that could be a description of my daughter AND Husband! LOL

I don't know how you are going to let Alex go all the way to Germany with the Doofus, but I wish you luck. =)

And this does sound a little reminiscent of when you were in Germany, doesn't it? Strange how life goes sometimes... =P
