My first Spirit Jumpings!

If you happened to miss the info a bit ago on SITS, go HERE to learn all about being a Spirit Jumper, OR submitting people who need a "jump" for their spirits. It's all about raising the spirits of those people battling cancer, and their family members. I'm so pleased to be a small part of this project!!! I chose three people to send cards to:
This card is for Kourtney.
She is a 12 year old little girl battling
Leukemia and recently began chemo.
Inside of her card.
Cancer IS a dragon to be beaten!!
This card is for Tom.
Tom lost his beloved wife last month to cancer.
This was a really hard card to make, but
I hope that it helps in some small way.
Inside of Tom's card.
This card is for Kim.
Kim is currently undergoing chemo, surgery
scheduled in March. She is 41 years old, loves
to laugh, she knits.
I thought she might appreciate this!

Please join me in praying for these brave souls!! And if you feel so moved, contact Spirit Jumpers! Some people make care packages, some cards or letters. Think about what YOU would want to receive when you're sick, and down, and quite literally battling for your life. That is what this program is all about. Adding some fun, smiles and general cheering up, to people who really need it.

Beautiful AND inspirational cards, Jeannie! I have to think of something really special for the 11year old girl I've been matched up with. I just love the opportunity to make someone else smile!

You have totally inspired me! I love this concept. I am heading there in a little bit. I will try and incorporate a kid project. What to do, what to do!? Thanks for your generosity and kindness you show to others.

OMG Jeannie they are SO pretty. That's awesome. I'm really glad you did that! I sent a spirit jump to a little boy a few months ago. It makes you feel good.

I love them, Jeannie, and I just know the recipients of these beautiful cards will get a happy feeling when they open them. You are so awesome to make these for your Spirit Jumps.

Thanks for reminding me, I've been meaning to post about the website to get more people involved. I think it's one of the most simple but important ideas I've seen.
