Great Tip Tuesday!

Do you ever think about your future? Are you so stressed right now that you think, "Hmmmmm, by (fill in the date) all this mess will be behind me!". Or are you so happy right now that you can't imagine it being any better, later on? What will you be doing five or ten years from now? Heck even ONE year from now? Will you have the same job? Will you live in the same place? Will there be changes in your family??

If you think you lead a "boring" life, and nothing changes or will change, I'd bet you'd be really surprised if you could fast-forward your life and take a look around. Now, since we can't actually do that (and I'm really GLAD we can't because I so would and I'm sure it would turn out badly!!!), how about a different approach? How about making a small time capsule today, to read in the future!!!

That's right! Go HERE, and send yourself an email to be deliverd to you, up to 100 years in the future! I'm guessing you won't actually be alive in 100 years, but it's an option for you. Just make sure you KEEP using the email address you use now, lol! So let's say you're a Mommy of little ones.....they aren't sleeping right, or eating right, etc etc etc and you are soooo tired and sick of it all. You email yourself about all these things.....and then have a really good laugh when you look BACK on all that and realize it wasn't really that bad at all! Or email yourself about that crappy job with an even crappier boss. OR things are going just fabulously and you want to always remember that special time!! Just have fun with this!!

My grandma left a letter to her family when she died. It is treasured and read often by each and every one of us.

Nice thoughts.

THAT is a great tip! What a fun idea.

Mine will probably say "Are you STILL fat because I KNOW you have zero will power!!"

That would be a trip.

I found a letter I wrote to myself about 15 years ago that I wanted myself to open before I got married. And, of course, I forgot the letter existed. I gave myself good advise though!

100 years in the future? I hope some else is around to remind me what my password is again! ;-)

It is a neat idea!

I did this once. It was basically a 2 sentence letter! I had just had my first baby, so to be fair I was really quite tired and out of it. I plan on doing it again, with much more detail!

How cute!!! I don't want to see the future, good or bad. I always remind myself to enjoy today and make the most of everything in my life. It is the only way to live!!!

I've discovered the importance of living for today, because you never know what might happen tomorrow. I don't worry about the future, it will take care of itself. I'm just trying to get through each day as it comes.
