our dog growing up used to do this, very cute.
You want to know something funny? That little red light works with kids, too. They do the SAME thing as the cat. It's also pretty funny. I love a good cat.

I wish I could get my kitty Dharma to do that. She lasts a few seconds and then falls over refusing to go any farther.
Our lab dog does this with an light. But she runs around bitting at it and barking up a storm. It is funny until the barking becomes annoying. LOL...
My Zoe LOVE the laser light. We torture him by moving it up the wall! It drives him NUTZ but he keeps trying to get it!
Funny that this is possibly the laziest way to play with your cat and entertain yourself at the same time! LOL
