My Sunday Blessings

Sunday Blessings to you!!

I'm so glad, and grateful, that today is today's Sunday and not last week's Sunday! Does that make any sense, lol?? Although Thomas has to work all day today, it's still a good day. A quiet day. A relaxing day. And.......I'm all caught up on my emails and comments!!! Otherwise I feel really guilty and it stresses me out.

I first started singing this to Alex when she was a tiny and colicky baby. And I have sung it to Shane and Bella too. Now I sing it to Bella when I tuck her into bed every night. It's a family tradition! What tradition do you have, that you did with each child?

Bella eating apple slices. This is her first taste of caramel (reduced sugar though!) dip. It was sooooo loved by The Bella!!

"Mom of the Year" award from April of Straight from the Heart.

Mom of the Year Award Rules...
*Rule One-Admit one thing you feel awful about involving being a mom- I'm sad that there is such a big age gap between Alex & Shane and Isabella. Now it will be like she's an only child, when she really has two siblings.
*Rule Two-Remind yourself you are a good mom!- I like to think I've learned some things in being a Mom three times over. I know I am alot more relaxed now than I was in my 20's!!!
*Rule Three-Send this award to 5 other Mom's of The Year that deserve credit for being great moms and remind them they are the Best Mom they can be!
If you're a Mom - You get this!
Period!!

Seven things you don't want to know about me:
1. I believe a bubble bath will fix almost anything. On our honeymoon, I took like three a day because the tub was so huge and wonderful!! A huge, deep, jetted tub is my idea of practical luxury. One day I will have a real home, and all I care about is the master bedroom tub, lol!
2. I love to have people over....so I can cook for them. Feeding people makes me reallllly happy. No clue why, but it's true.
3. All I know about being a lady comes from my Grandmother. She was stylish and classy, AND very, very funny. She taught me how to sew, knit, crochet, needlework - everything! She was always so patient and loving. I love her so much and I can't wait to see her again in heaven.
4. The new expansion pack for Guitar Hero came out today and Thomas has already picked it up for me!!! (We paid for it back in December I think, lol!) Guitar Hero is the bestest!!!
5. I'm looking forward to warmer weather because I want to get some flower boxes for the front and vegetables for the back yard! Finally, a bit of a garden even if it's in tubs!!
6. I'm seriously considering having an Etsy shop, after Easter and after I can make a pile of "inventory" to sell my cards.
7. I'm a huge procrastinator, even on things I WANT to do!! Weird, huh??
Not really into following rules, so if you want to play - go for it!

I'm a stealin'!

I used to sing that song to my kids too. But they would tell me I was hurting their ears. Does that give you any indication of my singing ability?!

I'm glad this Sunday is better for you!!

I enjoyed your 7 list. I can relate to some of the things on it, for example, I too feel this need to feed people! It's just somehow right!

I also sometimes procrastinate doing things that I want to do. It makes no sense!

And I'd like to plant a few more things when the weather warms up. Nothing brings a wonderful sense of peace like planting things that grow!

Hi. I'm finally getting around to visiting the friends who popped by during the Spring Fling. Thanks for visiting my blog! Cute site - I love your header.

I have children a number of years apart - mine are now 10, 20 & 27 and my sister and I are 12 years apart. It's a little weird sometimes, but I think I actually prefer it that way. I could appreciate each child separately and I think they like each other better than if they'd been close together.
