But.....not as bad as I'd look if I saw this....
...so no matter how bad things are, they can always be worse, right?
...so no matter how bad things are, they can always be worse, right?
So on Monday I was really stressed out, couldn't smoke and needed to chill. But I didn't want to chill, I wanted to smoke. Quite the dilemma, huh? That is when I had one of my all too rare sparks of genius! The thing I was stressing about didn't really matter in the "big picture" of things. Sure, it mattered ALOT at the moment, but not really in the grand scheme of things. And then I remembered something else I read once: "Today is the tomorrow you worried and stressed about yesterday!"......I'll let you read that a couple of times to let it sink in.........
Now all that stressin' and worryin' seems kind of silly, huh? Because here you are, in "today", and the world is still spinning and everything is ok, right? So my great tip is this: stop stressing!! It doesn't do you or anyone else any good, takes time off your life, AND gets in the way of staying healthy!!! Stress will even prevent you from losing weight!!! Who wants that?? Lose yourself in your favorite music, go for a walk (or other exercise you enjoy), play with a child or pet, something fun! Just don't smoke.........or punch anyone in the face, okie dokie??

I am trying to CALM DOWN, and stop breaking out--I am over 35 for crying out loud. Just Breathe! You are doing awesome!
Great job your doing on the not smoking! I stopped smoking, for the secong time, September 11, 2007, when I found out I was pregnant again. I had quit when I was pregnant with my daughter, but started again after she was born. This time it stuck. Hang in there, it gets easier! I swear it does!
Sometimes it's hard, but I agree with you!
Holy macaroni - if I saw that thing going across the road, I would PEE myself!!!!! (and Lord knows what else!)
OK, so next time I'm stressed I'm going to picture that HUMONGO snake in the road and feel very grateful that whatever it is I am dealing with has nothing to do with that snake. Unless it happens to be my husband's ex wife. She and that snake have a lot in common.
Holy cow, that is on big long snake!
Good job Jeannie keep it up!
When I am stress it is food that calms me, until I realized how much I ate. Ugly cycle.
Couldn't punching someone in this face count as "exercise you enjoy"?
Gosh! That one pic looks just like me in the middle of a freakout attack!
You're almost at three weeks, keep up the good work!
And stressing about things you can't change, or about things that don't matter in the grand scheme, aren't really worth stressing about. Great advice.
